Hello All - I'm in the market for a new floor jack. Been using a Sears unit for years...would like something better. Something with around 4'' or less minimum height along with at least 17'' max height. Preferably light weight, made of aluminum, able to handle 2 tons, and made in the USA. Thanks in advance.

I looked, unsuccessfully, for something similar a couple of years ago. Ended up going with an Arcan XL2T. The good news is it offers one of the lowest minimum lift heights available at 2.75", is able to lift all the way to 24", has a long 32" reach, and offers dual pistons for quick lifting. The bad news is it's also steel, heavy, and made in China. It was about $200 shipped and I remain happy with its performance and reliability.

I'm not sure if anything's changed since I bought but, at that time, nearly all floor jacks I found were made in China and all the low-profile versions I found were steel/heavy. Good luck in your search!

You can get a Brunnhoelzl floor jack. Made in USA. Aluminum and low profile. Only $1295.00 for a one pump and $795 for a three pump model.

Hard to find a Made in USA Aluminum floor jack that doesn’t carry NASCAR type prices. I too was looking for the exact same thing as the OP. I went with an Aluminum low profile jack from Harbor Freight. Made in China I believe but works extremely well and I am very happy with it. Also brought the 3 ton Aluminum Racing Jack Stands but you’re didn’t ask.

Another Harbor Freight low profile jack here. It is the steel version and I believe I got it on sale for about $125. I've had it for a few years and it has been flawless so far. Clears my 2014 on L Springs. I'd get one again.

I have used the Harbor Freight Daytona low profile 3 ton floor jack for a few years now and it has been Great.
But it is a heavy steel jack.

I'm in the same boat, looking for a long-reach & low-profile replacement...was thinking about the Arcan XL2T.

I had a Craftsman Aluminum red/silver pro floor jack that has died on me.... can't complain, got 15+ good years out of it.
It had issues the last 3 or so years though:
It would get air-bound; I tried "purging" all the air out & re-filling with hydraulic oil since it started to leak years back... until the handle & spring finally jammed up.

So I'm going to give OEM Tools 2-Ton long-reach/low-profile floor jack, item #24838, a try. I like the look & although It's over-priced at: $299.99

But on autozone.com there's a 20% discount code plus FREE shipping on this jack. $60 off & free shipping>>> $240
Got my order in....
