I’ve got a set but need to get them powder coated. So far the first place I called wanted $200! I may be painting them myself! Steve’s a great guy!

That’s nuts! Powder is stupid cheap. Wheels are usually only $100 a wheel.

thats ridiculous price! $10 per part is average pricing. the big plates that go inside the hood, you can easily paint those yourself, i have been. once installed you barely see them so you dont need to worry about having them look perfect.

at the time, i didnt know how soon i would be going to powder coating again. maybe two weeks after i shipped yours out, i ran out of satin black parts and needed to have more done to satisfy new orders. i went to this shop. they do excellent work. they also do shipping. cost you $10 to ship those to them via usps.
they just did a whole bunch for me so they will be familiar with the parts. ask for Bob.
the owner's name is John and he has a 13/14 GT500

Thanks for the info- I checked another place - the guy told me $75-100. I texted him pics and he said outgassing, blasting and gloss powder coat- $125. I hate that because I’d like to do local. Looks like I’ll be calling your guy on Monday.

Mr. Steve@TF ... I am most likely late to the dance as they say but if any of those 07-09 GT500 hood vents are unaccounted for I would like to take a set off of your hands. The louvered version is my favorite but beggars can't be choosers. Fingers crossed :)

Don't mean to pester you Mr Steve but will purchase if you have a louvered style set left over.

hey bud, sorry for the late reply. been offline for the past week. (rough week).

i sold the last set of louvered hood vents immediately about two months ago, or so. and i just sold the last set of diamond mesh vents. all that's left now are the standard circular hole mesh vents.
