Hey guys, finally got my 3 bolt timing cover and ysi installed on the Mach 1! I’m going back and forth about piping size after the head unit. I have a pmas hpx-e made for a 3.5” pipe, so I was thinking I’d run 3” from the head unit to the fmic, then size up to 3.5” from the intercooler outlet to the throttle body. Car should be making around 27lbs of boost and the intercooler has 3” inlet/outlet Would that be fine, or should I just run 3.5” all the way? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Car will be driven mainly on the street.

On my set up I ran 3" from the head unit to the intercooler. Then had a 3-3.5" adapter from the intercooler outlet and ran 3.5" from there to the throttlebody. Never had any issues. Granted I was only at 19psi, but that was an F1A on a big bore stroker. So it was moving some air. And the signal for the BA5000 in the 3.5" pipe was good.

But you might want to seriously consider going stand alone.

I run 3.5" in my car and my car is flying on low boost, I highly recommend you run 3.5"
