I’m looking for polarized replacement lenses for a few pairs of Oakley Holbrook I have. I see a bunch available on Amazon. Has anyone used them before?

I've picked up a few knock off polarized lenses for my Oakley Gas Cans on eBay. They seem to be just as good as the originals.

I swapped the lenses in a couple pairs of Straight Jackets with Revants to use when I'm on the water. They're pretty nice lenses.

I've used Revant as well for my old Five Squared. $32 for polarized.

The new Oakleys I have now, Straightlink with the Prizm Polarized though... I may buy direct replacement from Oakley. I really loves these lenses.

hold tf on...you can replace the lenses in the 5squared glasses? Ive been just waiting until they get worse to get a new pair of glasses. $32 is cheaper than $55 +/- for a new pair of glasses.

I have tried revant and lense swap, both from amazon. Lense swap looked good but they would start to flake after a few months. I called them about warranty and they sent me a new pair no questions asked, when that pair started flaking I called again and they sent me a new pair again as well as refunded my original purchase money. Revant seems to be holding up better so far (have only had them 3 months) but they don't quite fit in my fuel cells right, they squeak when you move the frames around. I still think oakley lenses are better but the offbrand works pretty good too

I just ordered lenses for some old Maui-Jim's and WileyX's. If those go well I will be ordering about 3 more sets, now I feel better about hanging onto old sunglasses lol. I couldnt find the lenses for my MJ's or a pair of Rayban's on Revant, found them on thesunglassfix.com.

quick question for you guys regarding lens color, in particular polarized lenses. For a long time ive been a fan of oakley polarized lenses. Started back after college being on the ocean for long hours for a month at a time straight. I just think they are a great bang for the buck. anyway....this is the first time replacing lenses vs saving for a new pair of glasses. One thing i like about what i have gotten from the oakley polarized lenses, is that you can wear them when it starts to get dark, or other low light conditions and they still allow you to see well, vs cheaper lenses that make everything dark. So my question is, how does the darkness of the lenses affect this capability? typically the lenses ive had are like a darker gray where you can kinda see through them but not easily. Im now looking at possibly going with the darker, nearly black lenses but im worried about losing some of that low light condition clarity with the lighter lenses. Any insight to this? TIA

If you go straight to Revant's website and look at their options, they list the light transmission %. The lower the number, the darker.

Stealth Black vs Ice Blue Mirror for this example.

Edit: I just looked up my Oakley specs of my new glasses. I have Prizm Deep Water Polarized and they have a 12% light transmission. I think they get a little too dark around dusk when I'm driving. I, personally, would probably like something in the 15% range, but I'm guessing that there may not be much a a difference that one could tell. They are perfect in daylight.

Great question. I’m on the water a lot and play golf a lot at dawn and dusk. I didn’t think this through.

Honestly, that's probably going to require two different lenses. Something dark for the water and daytime, but something amber/bronze for dawn/dusk. You could always play it safe and go with a higher light transmission to cover you overall, knowing that it won't be super dark for mid-day.
