I'm considering building one. If I can do one I can do more. I image the swap will cost at least $15k. Who wants to be first in line?
I'll put your first $5 toward me betting on me being the first like in that thread. If I'm not, I'll send you $15 worth of burger coupons

So glad at least a few people realized it is on OJs bday.

So the 4door should only come with a v8? Isnt the main competition a wrangler? Dont recall any of them coming with v8s. But hey, i guess if ford could manage it, charge another 5-10k and let people have a v8.
A small diesel would be cool though.

Why try to be the same as the wrangler when it can be better? 5-10k for a v8 in the full size would be robbery.

a small diesel would be cool, a lot of engines would be cool but they’re only going to give us the ones no one wants.

Question: Does the current 2.3EB and 2.7EB run on regular or premium? I know, its boosted so it runs best on premium. But is it engineered to run on 87?

Lol at the stupidity from the V8 guys. Guys says he won't buy a raptor because it's a V6 but has a bunch of junk yard cars and trucks that can't hold a candle to the EcoBoost raptor hahaha

Thanks for the laugh, but on a serious note is it true that there will be a Bronco R with 335hp 380tq and the Bronco raptor will have the same 3.0L EcoBoost from the explorer/aviator making 400hp and 415tq?

V8 or bust! Mopar or no car! My truck's gotta rumble!

I find it comical, at best. They probably prefer Mapquest over Waze too.

Hopefully they price them aggressively vs. the Wrangler's.

A N/A option would be great, even if it's not the most powerful. Manual 4WD floor shifter as well. Manual everything. Ultimate reliability. That's me being greedy.

I really like what I am seeing so far.

Any chance of a Bronco pickup down the road? (A la Gladiator)

I know that’s putting the cart before the horse and that it would take from Ranger and F150 sales therefore making it highly unlikely. But something interesting to think about.

Honestly? I wouldn’t pay much additional because that’s what it SHOULD come with. It’s like creating the sickness and then selling you the cure.

shouldnt the n/a V8 be cheaper than a turbo motor with all the extra crap that comes with it.

Pepperidge Farms remembers a time when the turbo version of a vehicle was significantly more than the n/a version.
