I’m getting ready to do L&M NSR cams and some sort of the TB and inlet on my car. Power mods currently on the car:

Kooks LT
Kooks o/r X
Magnaflow axle backs
2.4 upper pulley
Overdrive lower (believe it’s a 10% but might be a 15%)
JLT CAI

I believe that’s it. It’s got a bunch of drivetrain and suspension upgrades, WOT box, and some other stuff too. Currently Lund tuned with the n gauge and that’s what I’ll be doing next tune too. Fuel system is currently 100% stock. Would I be able to run E85 with cams without upgrading pumps and lines? I intend to upgrade injectors and run the lethal or VMP BAP regardless since I believe both are pretty close to being maxed out as it is currently.

I really don’t want to do a full fuel system if I can help it, I did a return on my 04 cobra and it was a pain in the dick. I was constantly fixing small leaks on it and I’d rather just stick with the stock lines if I can.

Also, do I need to upgrade any timing stuff when doing the cams? Will the WOT box effect anything?

I’d check with what Lund will tell you has to be done. As they are tuning the car.

With my 12, Lund told me that for e85 I had to have a return line fuel system and upgraded pumps. I upgraded the lines to -10 feed and -8 return. I used a company that crimped the fittings and I haven’t had one issue with my lines.

Depends on power levels, my tuner said I only needed an injector swap to make 750 rwhp, factory lines with VMP BAP on stock pumps.

With E85 or race/pump gas? I know the stock pumps and lines with BAP and injectors will support that with 93 or race has but E85 requires 30% more fuel, so no it’s not just as simple as your power level.

You're going to need a return system with E85. Check with Lund I'll bet he will concur.

Quite aware of the additional volume, just tell you, my guy said it will take 750rwhp with the right injector. Take it with a grain of salt like anything, check your mods and with whoever is tuning the car.

If you're still running the M-122, you might could get away with it, but you won't have much if any headroom. TVS or twin screw, forget it. You need a fuel system. As far as timing components, I'd at least get new chains. Ideally, upgrade the secondary cam sprockets and chains. The billet secondary tensioners aren't a bad idea either, but will drive up the cost.

Thanks for the replies, I don’t want to mess with the lines or anything so I’ll just do a 104 or 110 octane race gas tube and pay the cost for race gas when I drive it. There’s Sunoco and VP dealers that stock fuel within a few miles of me so it’s really not an issue.
