Any thought on STRM, the last two earnings have been positive with a widening gap on expected and actual? New to this but trying to get intelligent on the subject.

I'm up 77% on MRO and 40% HAL as far as oil goes but I also got in around end of March.

STRM, microcaps are an adventurous game, you need to be an expert in what they do and almost have insider info.

Well, bought some shares of companies I have no idea about, but trusted the judgement of people on the internet I don't know, and have no idea of the quality of their judgement.

Bought DIN @ $45.62

Bought DFS @ $49.90

And bought back into CLR at $15.75

I'm hoping to hold on to them long term, at least two weeks.

But, seriously folks, look at the long term chart on LRCX. It's no fly-by-night company. 20 years ago when I started at AMAT, it was 4x the size of LRCX. Now AMAT is only about 25% larger than LRCX. if you think the future includes more and more computer chips, this is your stock. I've worked at AMAT three times, and I'm on my second stint at LRCX, so I have at least some insight into the profitability of these companies, at least as far as wanna be internet experts on stocks go. :D

lol no one is claiming to be a day trader, those are long hauls. I’m sure anyone who puts money into them will be happy they did in a year or two. They’re still big companies in their industry.

When everything started to tank this year, I stopped investing in mid, small, and real estate to put everything into large caps. I've been buying up all I can. Starting to see awesome gains from that now.

Kicking myself for not buying TESLA after the COVID drop.
It dropped to $361.22 on March 18th, and climbed to $1,025.05 yesterday.
184% return in under 90 days...

Not at all. It was $340/share in Feb. Look at the 5 year chart. 2019 was a down year for semiconductor equipment. We just started a multi year upswing. It's going north of $400. Right now it's at about $275.

Obviously it's your choice, but I will point out that LRCX has outperformed both AAPL and MSFT over the past five years.

The beauty of it is, it doesn't matter who wins the software wars, and to a large extent the hardware wars. All chip makers use Lam tools to make their chips.

Whats everyones thoughts that bought NKLA before the merger?

I missed the announcement for all the extra shares they would be selling, and it has just kept going down. Do you think it will rise up again( even long term) or stay pretty stagnate where it is?
Guess one could hold on to it and once they release their semi it should go up.

I bought NKLA when it was in the low 30's and sold it when it just about peaked. I then rebought it on the way down just before the low point. Personally I'm holding my shares till the 29th when they start the preorders for the Badger medium duty truck as I suspect we'll see another strong push around about then.

That being said I am in no way an expert in these things and am going off suspected trends and what my gut tells me to do.
