I am not a liberal, or vote democratic. I'm a small business owner, and I am very much conservative on the spectrum, and vote republican.
I am stating this as I do not support the trend of defunding law enforcement or this woman's opinion, BUT in order to win a negotiation, you have to recognize the opposite position so you know how to counter it.
The woman is stating her feelings are that it is a privilege to feel safe by calling the cops to your home to address an issue of safety. She is implying that african americans have to worry that once the police arrive, the police themselves may present a bigger threat to the person (african american) that called than the original threat requiring the police to arrive. It is a privilege for white people to call law enforcement to their homes without worrying that they may end up being killed.
I do not agree with her position, but I understand what she is trying to imply.
Get ready for a Mt Everest spike of all violent crime across the board (nationwide), because of this. And if I was a leading Republican I would just tell everyone you wanted this you got it, now figure out what you are going to do about it. If you keep these thugs among you then you want this to continue, but if you start to violently perge and kick them out then I guess you want our help in restoring your communities.
