Pretty much this. By nonsense I meant the looting, burning and general anarchy that is attracted by protests such as this.
Don't get me wrong, I support every citizens right to peacefully protest, but these recent protests have been undermined by people that have zero interest in George Floyd and his death. Quite honestly, if they want to honor the man and seek true reform in police departments, they would monitor and police the type of people that attend these functions themselves. Not always an easy thing to do, but we have to ask ourselves, why are disruptors attending the protest. I think they see it as an easy mark to loot, steal and cause problems.
