I decided to ditch the stock k member, ridiculous how heavy that thing is compared to the new UPR setup.

Next up for tomorrow is possible in bay head studs. Any recommendations to make it easier? I have the lift and the engine support bar, that's about it. Or should I just wait and do them at the same time as the new blower? I'm waiting on the J2Fab intercooler so the 3.4 can go in.

Well,

I ended up taking out my pioneer head unit and putting a factory CD player back in.

Hopefully it lasts awhile.

I debated on selling my pioneer, but maybe I should keep it as a backup.

What made you do that? You prefer the OEM look?

New wideband sensors today! Scared the crap out of me when my A/F guage stared going full lean at WOT...lol! Did some data logging and didn't see any issues. Eventually discovered one of the wideband sensors was defective. I last replaced them in 2016 about 5000 miles ago so I'm not sure if it's just bad luck or if adding Boostane to the tank shortens their life. Luckily they are one of the easier items to change on a Terminator! :D

You'll need to unbolt the motor mounts from the k member so you can tilt the engine a bit to be able to slide all the studs in. Not a big deal. I have a 3.4 as well. Are you going to notch the hood, use k member spacers, or go with a smaller upper pulley?

I've gone through a few Bosch LSU 4.9 sensors. Some only lasted a year.

Some people replace them yearly.

Yes kind of. But honestly, I couldn't get the same sound quality either.

I have a nice kenwood in mine and the damn thing sounds like I'm in a tuna can. I can't seem to adjust it to sound good. I think the next thing I'll do is run wires and new amp/speakers. Just not motivated as I don't listen to the stereo often.

My fronts are components with crossovers that I used the tweeter outputs to drive. In my 04 the tweeters are run directly from the head unit. I don't know about the 03's. The rear are stock speakers. I'm thinking of swapping those out and getting one of those small amps that goes behind the head unit. My buddy has one in his 04 and it sounds clean.

Been there. Done that. Just rip all that Mach 460 garbage out and use it as kindling at the next bonfire. Glorified construction paper speakers... I did a 5-channel Alpine (mounted it to the underside of the rear deck black plastic tub) and Alpine Type-R 6x8 coaxials at all four corners. If you're not worried about rattling the neighborhood, just get a decent 4-channel amp and speakers. I found that I have plenty of bass output with just the aftermarket speakers getting decent power so I haven't even used the fifth channel for an 8" sub as I had planned.

That sounds easy enough to do, I was expecting a nightmare. I am using the k member spacers, but plan on use a 3.0 pulley. If that holds/doesn't slip, I might drop down even smaller.

I like the keyhole idea, never even thought about that. I just got one that sits above the license plate

I'm not happy with the angle of the camera. Can't see the bumper and that's sorta important if you use the camera to backup, lol. May end up going with the license plate version.

Rolled fenders FTW! Was it pretty easy to do? Looks good!

Pretty easy. The fender isn't a perfect circle concentric on the hub so it takes alot of fiddling with the tool to get all of the lip rolled. I also cracked the paint in a few places even though I used a heat gun. The metal cools off really fast so an extra set of hands might be useful. I'm just going to use touch up paint for now as I plan to get it repainted in the near future.
