I've thought about this story a few times since I first read your post and I find myself smiling like a goon each time. This is a great story- thanks for sharing.
In the end, the story had a terrible finish.

After killing the T45 for the 2nd or 3rd time, and not having money to replace or fix it, the car sat for months. Eventually he got to hurting for cash, sold the car, minus the trans, for $4500.

That said, it probably huffed down a 1000 pounds of Nitrous over the time he had it, and won tons of street races against way faster cars. Good times.

Beautiful. Love it except for the Cobra Rs, but thats just me.
Not just you. Generally not a fan of either chrome or Cobra Rs, though these have grown on me. But they'll be getting replaced.

Sad ending, but that was clearly a well-enjoyed car.

Took a few quick shots to show how coddled this car seems to have been.

Car looks great Brian! Congrats on the purchase. I can think of a few wheels that would look great on there in either a silver or polished finish.

Thanks Jon!

Got some wheels on the way. I had been planning on 18" anthracite Bullitts, but I can never leave well enough alone. Dug around, found a wheel I really like. That being said, what wheels are you thinking of?

On that body style I think a BBS style would look the best with a good sized lip, but Im also thinking an Enkie wheel would look really good on there. Not sure what model but I will look at what they have to give you an idea. I'm sure you know the brand but they don't typically go on domestic vehicles but they are a manufacturer spec wheel company so the quality is great and their designs have a wide range of appeal. They are building truck wheels now and some of them look awesome.
