I installed the ATX20 HD 2 weeks ago. Before install I charged it overnight on the recommended Opitmate Lithium Charger. I did a series of starts on/off during the week without incident.
It rolls over really fast & fires instantly. All gauge vitals seem good. The car sat for a week until this past Saturday. When I took it out...again it fired on/off during stops instantly. On some open road cruising with a few short pulls it ran like a monster !
For now this is my install using the original battery blanket + the foam pad spacers which I should have installed beneath the blanket. I may shop around for a small battery box which I can mount on the tray. You can see the difference in size.
The ATX20 HD does NOT have the Restart Feature. It's dimensions are 8.5"W, 4.5"D and about 5"H. It weighs a bit less than ATX30 at 5.18lbs. It has 900CCA. So yeah...I'm now a fan.

I run the 780cca anti gravity battery, no restart, in a Morris Engineering bracket. Saved like 25 pounds over the stock battery/box

Looks like I’ll be looking to save that front end weight before the fall racing season.
Good to hear you both are having success.

Hi Guys...just refreshing this old thread. I installed the ATX20-HD back in late May. No Restart Feature. The car has seen many frequent local stops + has been stored 2 weeks at times with zero incidents. I have the lithium battery tender (will use in winter) but so far over the past couple months there's been no need. The ATX20-HD kicks the engine over like it's a Toyota with no ECU consequence. For me it's proven to be more than adequate at a mere 5 lbs. No need for the ATX30-HD.
Just figured I'd share the results .
