The land of commies and socialists!
Go for it op! Then you can go to family functions and lecture everyone in a condescending tone as to why they shouldn't be eating meat. Dont forget the disappointing stares you'll be able to cast while everyone eats.

Get yourself a PETA starter pack while you're at it. They are always looking for people.

Everyone has their own choices. Until I saw this video and others I never knew this was how livestock was killed or handled.

I’m sure people would be up in arms if these were dogs instead of pigs.

Context is everything.

As a former personal trainer for 10+ years, i can tell you definitively that if you’re a family of horribly eating hungry hungry hippos, then yes, the vegan will be the ‘healthy’ one.

If there is any type of weight training involved, the vegan will absolutely fall off quickly minutes into thier training session. I’ve personally witnessed it too many times to count.

If you’re so butthurt about animal cruelty, then stick to the ‘clean’ meats instead like chicken, turkey, and fish.

Butt hurt? I don’t know if I would call it that.

I can understand the not wanting to be part of animal cruelty, but there are plenty of animal products that can be consumed that are ethical choices. There also has to be a line where you put different value on different animals's lives or you'd stop driving your car and killing thousands of insects. Humane slaughtering of domesticated livestock that only exist for human consumption doesn't bother me at all.

Exactly.

.... Eating meat does not make you any more/less of a man but being Vegan is NOT a healthy life style

Ok, Karen.

lol, do you hunt for your meat? I can't help but laugh at people who claim man status because they know how to buy meat in a package.

Yeah, I walk right out my front door and hunt the open range of the SoCal desert.

Hilarious you’re so upset about pig treatment and won’t eat pork because of it, but cow meat is perfectly fine!

PETA called... you’re late on your monthly donation.

Just said I wont buy it due to the treatment for personal reasons... the beef I buy is all locally farmed free range, they don't live the shit life most livestock live.

Meh, not for me, but you do you.

The animal cruelty videos don't sway me from eating meat. It just shows some people don't respect the importance of proper husbandry. A man who abuses his livestock is a morally corrupted person.

I also prefer local farmed, free range because it's typically cleaner/healthier meat, but what does that have to do with animal cruelty?

Local beef farmers are somehow exempt from beating their animals?

If I can’t eat meat anymore, then my time has come. It’s one of the few enjoyments I get out of food.

Pick your poison.

What does this mean? Shopping at Costco or grocery store?

You have access to free range beef, but don't have access to a hog butchering?

I’m pretty sure I’d eat people if they were free range non gmo.

Instead I settle for cow. There are so many variations of cow to even choose a favorite. I suppose my favorite is ground up in a circular patty with LTKM. Right after that is ground up and placed in the fold of a flour tortilla. My third would be steak in a MR/MED configuration bleeding into some mashed potatoes.

I’m done.

my point was some guys like to think eating meat=man status, I'm not actually critisizing store bought meat, I just think its funny how some people think that's what makes a man a man. Only people who can claim to be badass are the people who hunt the meat themselves.

I have not seen local hog butchering here. Cattle and chicken are the big two and I'm fine with beef/chicken/fish.

Again, I'm not virtue signalling or telling anyone what they should/shouldn't do, only posted my own personal morals

The best diet is a well versed diet. Red meat is a proven carcinogen in high dose.

I mix and match. Red meat, poultry, fish, veggie based. We started doing spicey black bean burgers and those things are fire. I love them.

The next night I might make a steak or tacos with ground beef. It's all in moderation man. We went semi-vegan vegetarian and I lost 10 pounds.
