The black roof is painted by Ford. Thanks for build update, it makes it easier for me to guestimate the day it will be sent to the plant.

I haven't heard anything on when the 2021MY Shelby order bank will open, this usually happens a month or two after the regular Mustang order bank.
If Ford does extend 2020MY production through December, still not confirmed, I think the 2021MY Mustang Order Bank may open sometime in October.
But this is just a WAG at this time.

For those members that are wondering if you can change an order after it has been issued a VIN, but before it was sent to the plant for production, question answered.
