$405 on the ST
$310 on my wife's Civic
$240 on the Harley

I spent all of my young years buying cars I couldn't truly afford, trading every 1-2 years and rolling over the equity. Terrible decisions I made while I was younger.

These will be the last vehicle payments I have for awhile, the bike and civic will be paid for in a few more months and then that money is going on the ST so hopefully will be paid for within 1 year. Can't wait to the payment monkey off my back. We need a bigger vehicle now that I have a family but will save and pay cash for a lightly used one

$779/month with 1 year left on my 2014 cls63. Will probably pick up a $1k-1500 a month payment after that....

Too many years of Harley payments before I realized it was stupid.

Currently, $550 a month on the Shelby with 1 year left. Got 3.5% from Carmax with $12k down. Car was only 4 years old when I bought it.

Decided when I pay off Shelby, wife and I are picking up an XL or STX F450 for the family War Wagon.

What'cha looking at??

I think I'm all done with trucks when I need a new daily driver. I'm talking years and years out, but I don't think I want another truck. I'm thinking of ordering an Audi RS3. We'll see. (I don't like the fact that there's no remote start, no power seats or heated seats.) Don't need a new daily driver for a long time.

Can't bring myself to do it.

The car payment would be one thing, full coverage insurance is what makes me sick. Paid $700 for a year for my two vehicles currently. Got quotes over double that when I was considering a Fusion.

It would be one thing if full coverage actually covered 'everything'. The one time I made a claim, I fought every step with the insurance company to get my car fixed right. The area I'm in now, the car would likely get damaged by someone uninsured or illegal.

Thinking about a gen5 viper (maybe an ACR...) or a c8z06 or c7zr1.

My plan is to continue to put any and all my spare money into the stock market until it completely rebounds. Then its new toy time.

Audi Q8 is I think $1200
Ford Raptor is $600

The other cars are paid for

I look at it as debt to income ratio rather than just how much a payment is . I don't mind having a car payment as the Q8 is a write off and hobbies cost money and You either pay daily, monthly or lump sum either way it's cash gone. For the most part the vehicles that I have driven have been fairly expensive so I never thought of it to be a smart investment to pay for anything cash I would rather take that cash and invest it with something with a higher interest return rate.

Everybody lives life differently really no right or wrong IMO.

I'm right with you, our next car payment will be in that same ballpark but could go as high as 2k if everything goes as planned . It's her turn to pick and the cars she wants all have different price points.

We had $30K saved for replacing my 06' F150 with a newer truck when the time comes. Couldn't resist the opportunity to make some serious money in the market right now and invested most of it instead.

2012 Lincoln MKS EcoBoost (mine) - Bought Jan. 2016 for $24.5K, financed $13K and paid off March 2018.
2015 Honda CR-V Touring AWD (wife's) - Bought June 2018 for $25K, financed $9K and paid off August 2019.

We will always get the longest term we can, but put close to half down with the goal of paying it off within a year or two. Reason is to have a low monthly payment/equity and if things shit the bed, we can still manage because of a low payment/equity.

All my cars are old with the '13 Altima being the newest that i bought in cash a little over a year ago. The 4Runner, Cobra and Silverado are all paid off years ago.

My wife has 16-17 payments left on her '16 Accord at $350/month. Was originally a 66 month loan at 1.99%

Paid in full.

Think we've been down this road....

Cracks me up some random guy on the internet starts a thread to talk about car payments...and he doesn't have one.

Good for you man!

I'm sure you can help him out.

Took longer than expected

~550 on my 2013 GMC 1500 - 6 months left. I didn't put much down so the payment is a bit high and I financed it for too long. I'm glad it's coming to an end. That being said, I will probably trade it on something else. It's still worth quite a bit because it has <40k miles so my next payment should be more manageable.
