In before #ithasnosoul :)

Can't wait to see some of this guys ideas come to fruition.

People thought he was straight nuts 20 years ago when he said he was gonna build rocket ships and go to space and send people into orbit.
Now that we are in the verge of that, when he says Tesla Roadster will have cold gas thrusters it seems less insane.

I’d drive it. Like that is all business. Wish the bed was the conventional style instead of that tear drop looking thing.

Me as well. He makes a good point that other car companies like Ford develop a prototype that usually gets WOWS, but in the end changes are made and the vehicle manufactured falls short of expectation. Tesla doesn't do that. I fully expect the product truck to produce a lot of excitement. This guy isn't afraid to push the envelope, and he is usually ahead of the game, engineering and design wise.

How about the tunnel setup?

Isn't that thing literally too big? I don't remember if its right but to go into production it would need to be shrunk all around by like 5% or something.

NVM my tablet wasn't loading the vid and it instantly started around the time he said it was too big lmao..

I like everything but the styling. If I were in the market for a new electric truck, I'd go with Rivian R1T.

Love what the company stands for, no comment on the truck itself.
-At Tesla we aim for production vehicles to be better then the concepts. Other manufactures get people excited with concepts and the production vehicles suck in comparison. ROCK ON
-Do you want your truck bullet proof or not? HAHA love it, no bs garbage

Good bit of love here for EM. But it wasn’t so long ago (like within the last year) that there was a double handful of posts saying Tesla was absolutely, for sure not going to make it - ie, go bankrupt. But Tesla just hit its first of several production targets (all units are sold before they’re built), so Elon earned a cool $770M.

I wouldn’t bet against the guy, even if the upcoming launch goes bad. He’s playing a long game.

to be fair, Elon had a ton of headwind and plenty of very educated reasonable people chiming in there were reasonable odds based on serious concerns that long term viability was going to be challenged. Not saying plenty of people on this site, and humans in general, couldnt benefit from more open mindness about the future and how its going to look.

Big of a boring video. Was hoping more of an actual test drive and a show of it’s truck capabilities than them shooting the shit.

Hes also highly government funded and when he bombs things he never takes a loss. It easier todo with other people money.
