It's @yonly65 on Instagram ; that was my first license plate, on my first car (a '87 Mustang 5.0 LX hatchback) and I got it just after California upped the interstate speed limit from 55 to 65.

Regarding new cars, I'm trying to be sensitive to the fact that a lot of people are struggling right now. I am fortunate to be in a job which can be done remotely without degradation, but many folks are not so fortunate. I do expect to get both the GT4 and the GT MK II on track in the next couple months, and I should have more content at that time.

I completely understand what you mean. Luckily I’ve been in a good spot to keep my vehicles. Can’t wait to see some updated material!

OK, this isn't a new car yet -- but I did get a most welcome phone call from Ford today...

congrats ben. that is awesome.

and here i am trying to score a 1:18 scale version of the same car via Maisto lol

Yah, the Heritage option and the timeline advance were both really pleasant surprises. If it drives anything like the MK II, it's going to be a superb car.

Gorgeous car. I passed one in this scheme leaving work on monday. It was heading towards the race track, wonder if it may have been a drivers car since they just held the race the day before. First NFGT I've seen in person. Also just the other day realized there is a parking lot full of Focus ST/RS, Fiesta ST, Raptors and Mustangs behind the race track, apparently some sort of ford driving school taking place there.

Ford moved their track attack and driving school programs to Charlotte motor speedway a year or so ago.

I did notice a tractor trailer full of tangerine focus STs come past work awhile back, I was wondering where they ended up at. I don't typically go behind the speedway but was taking the scenic route to work earlier this week when I saw them. Looks like a good time but spendy

dont waste your money on maisto. Get auto art and you wont question the price.

I actually have a maisto 2013 Viper gts and a 2017 Viper ACR. The difference and attention to detail is night and day. $50ish vs $200 tho.

I dont need two more reasons to hate treynor. I have 3415 posts in this thread and counting. Man can this thread die already? It cant be good for the database.

Having recently done it, I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner. FWIW, I did my own heat wrap (vs Heffners optional), but only from about the license plate up.

Does your MkII have cats?

That has crossed my mind more than once - I really love how the MK II sounds, and there's also 30 lbs of weight savings...

Keeping all the posts in one thread is a convenience for readers. It allows people who want updates to subscribe; conversely, those who don't want my updates can easily avoid them.

Separately - judging from the size of the "NWS Pictures" thread, I don't believe there's any system threat from this thread...

Well alrighty then. I'll order one up once I've got a delivery date.

I believe the MK II is cat-free or at least cat-light; the turbo spool is very obvious when you're near the car.

autoart is amazing but I dont care that much in this case, kind of a why not thing for $25 or whatever it is. I do have an autoart of my Mach 1
