I am not trying to disrespect anyone here.
Side question: Why would you own a 350 with a gas engine?

I could see the 250 suspension with the Godzilla, but why get the heavy(er) suspension and a gas motor?

Maybe I am missing it.

Because sometimes you need the chassis more than the engine and it's increased service costs.

My dad usually keeps his trucks for 2-3 years and then sells them.

He would not recoup the 10k option for the diesel in that time.

Also, I think he is old school and believes the diesel just doesn't work in cold snowy weather. The truck is used to plow our business lot in the snow

Ahhhhhh, yeah I could see the plow truck service, very hard on the suspension.

Thanks!

Pay for alot of whatever ya want for the 10k engine premium for diesel.
And then the extra 6 litres of oil.

And then the extra cost for fuel.
And then the extra air filter cost.
And then......I think you get it.

What’s the difference in the suspension between the 3/4 and 1t? I know for my Ram it was just read springs with everything else being the same, then again that was the previous generation but I believe it was the same for the 4th also.

Love the horn! LOL. The motor does sound pretty good. I'm sure your dad loves to drive it.
