You're missing the point. The mask is NOT to protect you from Covid19. It is simply to reduce the amount of particulate matter coming out of YOUR mouth and nose when you speak, cough, sneeze or breathe. A cloth barrier does that.

So let me get this straight, I can walk into any business with no shirt or shoes and if anyone confronts me, I just tell them I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a shirt or shoes and if they continue to harass me with their "rules", they are in violation of HIPA?

You are confused if you think that a private enterprise is required to guarantee your civil rights.
You are confused if you think they can violate federal law and not be sued/shut down.

Day 1 of a class on business law will tell you that discrimination is as common to private enterprise as profit motive.
But if you do not believe me wear a nazi armband to work tomorrow and tell me what happens. Be sure to bring up your theory on how they are violating your freedom of expression as they are firing you.
