Coil spring postition (orientation) ride height, new one on me?

The posts you're reading are for an SRA. It's been a awhile, but I think the lower control arms for the IRS have pockets for the springs to fit in.

You might be able to tweak height a little side to side, but its not something I've tried.

Without going outside right now..as I recall....they both start in the lower cup right in the middle of the tab where the emergency brake cable bracket is..

or on the 99..where the bracket should be.

Outside (FIX:REAR) forward wheel well..you will see the wide tab on the arm and the protective metal ring on the emergency cable that corresponds to it.

Also..on the 99, tie wrap the emergency brake cable at that same point through the spring cup hole with some big honking tie wraps in place of the brackets that came on the 2001+ cobras.
you can wrap the cable with some rubber split hose 5/8"..gooped with permatex ..if you want.

The front springs should start right between the two spring cup weep holes.
