Yeah on the banner, but its new, dont think ever hung (so still fresh and strong). Packing tape on the backside, can hold em together for a while too, if need be.

Bummer on the #05

Cool on the art, that was what I figured.

Those banners are nice but don't have good longevity.

That Steeda poster is nice since it has the #05 car. That was only raced in 3 IMSA events and then parked. It was owned by Joe Sulentic and driven by him and Alex Caffi. The car was being raced in vintage and crashed badly a few years back and sitting in a pile.

The white Cobra R is artwork done by an artist. I don't know if he just did Mustangs or also other vehicles. They used to be all over ebay.

Thanks for posting these!

I’m getting ready to hang up my original BFG 95 banner. For longevity do you suggest I put packing tape on the back? I don’t plan to ever take it down.

I had a nice Steeda banner that started to dry out and crack. I covered the entire back side of it with duct tape and got a couple more years out of it.

I had a 95R BFG yellow banner and a Steeda banner. Put them up about the same time and within a year both had fallen apart. The plastic just became hard and started tearing. I would think tape would prolong the life of one.

Here is another I found today. I've never seen another like it. This was given to Ford Motorsport dealers back in the day that were Warehouse Distributors to help promote making your GT into an R with R parts that were available from the Motorsport program.

Notice the car used is a white GT with an R hood and rims. They also added the SVO side exhaust kit. The poster lists images and part numbers for R-model parts. This was all driven because the cars raced needed replacement parts when wrecked or damaged. This is also why so few real Rs were raced after 1996. You could go buy a body in white or V6 and buy these parts and you had an R ready to race for about half the cost of a real R model.

I was suggesting once it fails to repair it with tape. Have not considered being proactive. Mine is up, and unlikely to move for a long time.

I have some of this 95R stuff for sale, if anyone is looking........

The two "Official" SVT 95R posters and a 95R diecast by Maisto......

017.jpg

An original 95R BFG poster.....

018.jpg

A cool Ford poster from that time period, it has been in the garage for a while (quite a while) and is not perfect but the garage is A/C'ed and this poster has NOT been exposed to the sun (faded), and once it is flattened in a mount, it will be presentable.....a small tear at the top and bottom will need to be taped from the backside and they will disappear.........

019.jpg

The 95R die cast......The doors open, but it still has the clear strap through the car holding the doors closed, I have never cur the shipping strap. The clear plastic display case has a crack, but they can be easily forum from another Maisto on eBay. The 95R and it's labeled platform are the value.....

I would like to sell this 95R stuff in one lot, if possible.

I also found this 2-sided IMP 95R spec. sheet that will be included in this 95R lot. I had laminated and used it at cars shows with my 95R, it was a nice info. piece to lay on the dash....

If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM. I think this is about the last of my 95R stuff except for my extensive 95R magazine collection. Both the 95R and the 00R got much magazine coverage and even in some very obscure magazines.....

I also have an original of the 1993 Cobra R poster, I can add a picture if anyone is interested?

Thanks, Robert

Dont know much about this one, was de accessioned by a member here:

View attachment 1641074

It took me a little bit of time to find it......

The 2000 Cobra R below came from the same art design studio as the 95R shown the attached link above.

002-2.jpg

Notice in the bottom left 21/50 prints, mine was 21/300

On the 1995 R pint above........108/xxx, my 95R was 108.

The art studio did not do a 93R, so I was not able to get a numbered print for #51/107, but what I was able to buy were cool/detailed artist renditions of the 95R and 00R.....
