Lol. Another $$$ payout coming up. He sure showed her.

Bad judgement and language is not unexpected from someone getting a ticket.

Good judgement and professional language can be expected from someone professionally trained in dealing with the public and doing it daily.

Anyone think they could have gotten the desired result without tazing a fat old lady? The moment she said, "Gimme that thing and I'll sign it" the confrontation was no longer about the real problem and became all about his bruised ego and power over the dangerous perp.

Full disclosure: I would have tazed her, too. I wouldn't make a good cop either.

Wrong. She won’t get paid.

She absolutely had it coming and officer is fully justified there and did nothing wrong

HOWEVER, as a former police officer, I had many people said screw you, I am not signing it and they technically had to sign it and if they don’t they can be taken to jail to post bond, because they have to post some sort of bond, a signature is a form of bond. But I was like, ok. Ripped their copy and handed it to them and wrote refused on my copy and moved on. No need to get into a dick measuring contest there.

so regardless if someone signed it or not it's still registered as a ticket with the courts

don't lie, you would have hit her with the bean bag gun...

Ummm....errrrr....yes, technically that would be correct.

If I had a dollar for every time I could have used a beanbag gun over the years.....

In my defense, who among us would not use one given the chance. Just remember to wear a protective mask so you don't get corona on the ammo before firing. You know, to protect the public and all that.

Was he not placing her under arrest for not signing the ****ing ticket?

She’s a ****ing moron for running and he’s a overzealous piece of shit for zapping some old lady.

But the bootlickers always seem to Think that you should comply otherwise you deserve anything that happens to you.

I want to agree with this. He probably could have just mailed in the ticket and let the fines/fees escalate if she failed to pay.

Then again you have to ask yourself... should cops do that with everyone who refuses to sign the ticket? Thats a big negative.
