I think I may be getting bit by the Terminator bug again. I've been thinking I want to find a close to stock/unmolested as possible coupe. Plans I have in mind would be to keep it as stock 'looking' as possible, sleeper-ish, but turn some good numbers and open some eyes. Steggy stage 7 or 8 or whatever they are up to now, ported stock plenum and tb, heat exchanger, exhaust, e85, etc.......basically mods that don't grab attention. What power are the Eaton blowers really capable of when pushed to max efficiency with the proper supporting mods? One of my old 03's with a very early Steggy port and supporting mods made just at 500whp on pump gas, would 550-560whp be out of the question?

Member Oldpaint has a spreadsheet Here that has various combos with HP and TQ numbers. At number 127, is a ported eaton with mostly stock engine components on E85 at 552 RWHP and 575 RWTQ. The ported Eaton combinations with higher HP and TQ had "attention grabbing" and more expensive mods like cams, LT headers, head porting, etc. Take a look at that chart and it will give you a good snapshot of the power level you desire and what it will take to get there. My build from 2009 is number 17 BTW.

Quick Strike: Thanks for sharing the spreadsheet, lots of good information in there and providing some guidance for newbies like me!

Oldpaint: Thank you as well!

A hidden nitrous system with foggers in the lower would do the trick :)

Ahh what??

Max effort Eaton find a posi ported one, e85, upper & lower pulley, full exhaust, good tune.

That 552/575 car is mine. Stock cams, heads, shortblock, and manifolds. It went 132 in the 1/4 multiple times, so it made some steam. Was a ton of fun too. Didnt break as much stuff as the TVS did....oops.

Is that the one I bought from you back in the day? Still have it laying in storage I think. Dragon port matched and what not?

Swapped it for a TVS... then broke all my shit.

If you still have it, posi port 270, I'd like to buy it back :)
Yeah, I killed my worked over t56 with the TVS. Then I got in a bad car wreck that destroyed my back and it's been kind of on the shelf since. Long story, but I have everything except a blower and inlet to put her back together.
Just realized that was more than 5 years ago when I sold it!!

I'll have to swing by the storage unit later and see.

Yeah lol, 5 years sounds about right. Had a RR 2.93 and might have said something like "Andy" with sharpie on it?

Great info on that spread sheet, I see my 03 on there with the ported Eaton. Thanks for posting that Quick Strike.

132 is mooooooving, that's awesome! I was able to get a 10.8 @ 128 out of my 03 with an early Steggy port making 500whp. I think with a better port and more hp, 550-560ish like you were making, 10.5 may not be out of the question with an Eaton.

Oldpaint did an excellent job on that spreadsheet. The original thread where he attached the spreadsheet and accumulated the data is here. The thread or spreadsheet should have been a sticky in this forum or engine tuning, but that's not up to me. It is also very useful in calling BS or "happy dyno" on certain combinations.

I went 10.76 on a 1.66 60' on a drag radial. Needed to put a stiff wall slick on her and see what it would do.

Right on, definitely more left in it. I went a 1.52 60' on the 10.8 pass on a ET Street R bias ply, 26x10.5-15. Very pleased with the Street R's for the track, pretty consistent 1.5's all day. Leaving the line around 5500-6000rpm slipping the clutch a few feet. I know it had a 1.4 in it that day leaving off of the limiter but my clutch was on its last leg, wanted to make it home lol.

I've made 538/568 on 15lbs. Car has a home ported eaton & still has stock manifolds. This was on E85 with conservative timing. Going back Monday to add some more timing to see what it picks up. Car has been 11.01 @ 128 on some 315/35R17 Hoosier DR2's on stock wheels.

Nice! Post up your new numbers. What's pulley sizes? Other mods?
