Hello everybody,

reviving a dead thread because it’s still an issue.

The car was on jacks in the garage since virtually when I left off on this thread in 2016. It’s up and running now, Kenne Bell 2.2, return style, E85 and a MS3Pro ECU.

Odometer issue is still prevalent. I’m going over grounds and will update this thread if I find the fix.

The battery-alternator-starter wiring harness is BRAND NEW ford OEM.

Check the computer connections in the passenger side foot area, also the grounds over there. Also could be the PCM fuse is not making good contact. Just because a fuse looks good doesn't mean it is. Check with a multi meter.

Honestly I'd reach out to Megasquirt. Its obvious the problem isn't an MS3 problem but the guys are very helpful there in my experience and they know what it takes to make the cluster work since they had to make the MS3 compatible with it. They might be able to give you some advice.

Update-

Thanks for all the input guys.

Car just crapped 2 cylinders on the dyno, and I deploy Saturday, so it'll be a while before I can attempt to duplicate.

THanks for your service. Same issue here
I'm sorry to hear that. If you figure it out please feel free to PM me or post here as I'm not sure we've got it figured out. Had a reputable shop comb the wiring before it hit the dyno but wasn't around long enough to determine if the problem is gone.

I would play with the ignition switch when this happens. Slowly turn it in the direction of start to see if the odo comes back on. The fact that the engine shuts down is telling to me. Have you checked for codes also?
