Well, with too much time on my hands I decided to get out the poster stash and go through them. It brought back some good memories. I just need a larger garage to display everything!!! For perspective, the wrenches show are 18' long.

This is the only 93R poster created by Ford. To be honest, I haven't seen any other 93R poster.
DSCN7201.JPG

The 95R poster. "Cobra R Their Worst Nightmare..." This was a great poster with a few smaller images and stats below.
DSCN7215.JPG

This is the smaller version. Notice the lower images are gone and instead the 1995 IMSA Race Schedule is listed. This is on heavier poster material but only measures 11"x14".

Here is the one hanging in my shop. It was signed by John Coletti.

Shameless plug for this cool photo of a 95R I am fond of. This was back when it was raced in Motorola Cup. Notice the front rotors glowing red! John Kohler was driving here.

More to follow......

Here is the same 95R poster. I stumbled on this on eBay and Paul Hacker was selling it. At first glance, it is a 95R poster in poor condition with writing all over it. I looked at the "larger image" setting on ebay and realized it had the driver signatures of many of the original racers. Paul told me after the last race of 1995 all of the Cobra drivers got together and signed posters and they all took a copy home to commemorate the season. I feel privileged to have this in my collection.

Here are some 00R and combined posters.
DSCN7185.JPG

I like this one because it has the 93R & 95R at the top.
DSCN7187.JPG

Same poster signed by John Coletti in the corner. This was given to me by the late Tom Shreiner, a wonderful enthusiast and friend.
DSCN7186.JPG

Great 00R Image.
DSCN7198.JPG

Not too common. This was highlighting the motor and assembly plant. This wasn't a Ford promo poster. It was celebrating the plant and UAW for their work in assembling the R.
DSCN7211.JPG

The Trilogy Poster. One of my favorites.

More random posters with Rs.
DSCN7212.JPG

The famous "The Posse" poster from Steeda. This was on the back of every major Mustang magazine in the later 90s. Of these cars, every one still exists today. #20 was recently purchased and likely to start making appearances again in public. The #53 is a shell needing repair. #57 is actively tracked. #47 is actively tracked. #90 is being restored and close to completion. #21 was wrecked in vintage racing a few years back and sitting. #25 is restored and tracked.
DSCN7213.JPG

This detail shot indicates this is an ORIGINAL poster from the 90s. The newer version has Steeda's website which didn't exist in 1996 when this one was made.
DSCN7196.JPG

The later version which came out just after the MCA 40th Anniversary in 2005. Notice the full line of small writing just above the wrench.
DSCN7197.JPG

The later version with the Steeda website.
DSCN7218.JPG

This is a 3rd version of The Posse. It is on heavy poster paper but much smaller at 11"x17". There is also a difference in the layout of the lower portion.

Really nice group of posters. You'll want to hang on to those long term, for sure. I can see why you said that you need a larger garage. LOL.

This is another poster offered from Steeda showing their team cars. I included it because it has the 93R #47 and 95R #20.
DSCN7207.JPG

It celebrates Steeda's successes on track over the last 20 years.
DSCN7208.JPG

93R #47 and 95R #20 are both now owned by the same individual. The #30 shown was built by Shreiner Racing and won the Triple Crown-Manufacturer's Championship, Team Championship and Driver Championship for John Shreiner. This is a clone, not a real 95R.
DSCN7204.JPG

Cool poster put out by Massari-Muller Racing celebrating their 1996 IMSA season.
DSCN7205.JPG

Toyo Tires poster commemorating the 1996 IMSA Season.
DSCN7206.JPG

Hey! I recognize that #47 wearing it's 1996 livery. Signed by John Kohler.

Here is the BFGoodrich yellow 95R.
DSCN7203.JPG

They made the same version in red for the 00R. You could also get a banner of each style but they were plastic. Mine lasted about 5 years and then started falling apart.
DSCN7209.JPG

SVT poster celebrating 10 years of production 1993-2003.
DSCN7210.JPG

An enlarged image showing the 93R, 95R and 00R.
DSCN7214.JPG

Promo poster for the Tamiya Radio Control Hacker Racing #00 Cobra R. This measures 11"x17". This is a late-95 image when the paint scheme had changed to the Stars and Stripes livery raced by Snipes Ford, who actually owned the car.

I have an extra “3-Rs” poster sitting in a tube if someone is missing that one. These have long been out of print and hard to come by. It’s the one in the lower left:

Dont know much about this one, was de accessioned by a member here:

Those banners are nice but don't have good longevity.

That Steeda poster is nice since it has the #05 car. That was only raced in 3 IMSA events and then parked. It was owned by Joe Sulentic and driven by him and Alex Caffi. The car was being raced in vintage and crashed badly a few years back and sitting in a pile.

The white Cobra R is artwork done by an artist. I don't know if he just did Mustangs or also other vehicles. They used to be all over ebay.

Thanks for posting these!

Tom
