hello people, i have a special situation going on, i keep getting p0353 (cop-c) and p0234, i replaced the fuel pressure switch and cylinder 3 coil pack. the lights keep coming back on and the car has intermittent power, i replaced the fuel filter as well just for shits and giggles, any idea what the issue can be i can floor it in 2nd then goto 3rd you can see boost gauge go up and hear the supercharger whine out but rpms not climbing? anybody ever have this issue? thanks..

i apologize i had a p0190 code but its cleared now after replacing the fuel rail pressure switch.

i followed the firing order according to some research i did on other forums, cop-c would be cylinder 3, now according to a firing order diagram i found that should be passenger side 3rd cylinder from firewall, i replaced that cop but its still miss firing. I will definitely check the intercooler pump as it was "replaced" by the previous owner. thank you much for your advice!

clutch is good, just seems like hesitation, im leaning towards removing the fuel tank to see if the pprv has been removed i keep seeing alot of people post that being a culprit. Dont think thatd cause that cop-c issue though?

I thought cylinder #3 was the third cylinder from the front, not from the firewall.

Does it misfire at idle or just during acceleration? If the coil is new and the plug is good I would look at the injector on cylinder 3. Maybe it's partially clogged and can't deliver enough fuel under hard acceleration.

you can definitely notice it stumbling very lightly at idle and motor shaking a tad more than normal as you get into the rpms it seems to go away and you can pin the throttle and shell rip but when going into another gear shell stumble at wot and the supercharger boosts up but not the rpms, also when cruising similar thing happen like 3/4s on the throttle cruising you gas it to get around a car sometimes shell go but sometimes she wont, almost like theres a sweet spot in rpms? pretty strange. intermittent.

Here is a link to diagnostic pin point test for codes.

Tells what happened for code to set

And fords way of testing without guess work.

C133. That big connection with 10mm bolt.

Check here for a bent pin or pushed in pin or a barrel.

Was a thread awhile back with cop code issue after engine rebuild.

Also.

If you just got this car.

Do at least a compression test

1 dropped valve or other is common

Than modded with a bad tune.

Many bad stories on here with issues after purchase

thanks for all the help from everyone i figured out the problem, the whole goes, i bought the car with a miss fire, i took the chance with my experiences with motors knowing it was either igniton or fueling, so the car had a few issues...bad battery, alternator cable eyelit connector broken, bad cylinder3 cop and fprs bad as well. pulled the plugs found cylinders 5 and 8 spark plugs were blistering and the gounding bridge were melting closed, figured, replaced all and drove her around normally just fine until i went wot and going into shifts would stumble, did research and found out about this pprv valve, removed bought a 30 dollar submersible 5/16 hose and clamps, she runs flawlwss now. they way she should, just gotta double pump before a start. im happy with that.
