Did you get any pics of the hat before you installed it? Getting ready to tackle mine next week and am hoping I don't break my fuel level sender. Any tips?
Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the hat Uninstalled.

The install is very easy. Just be careful applying pressure to the sender card. It is fragile and will break if you aren't careful.

I popped the sender arm off of the hat prior to taking out the stock unit to give it more room to slide out.

To take the white sender housing off I used a small screw driver on the back side bracket where the white sender clips through. And I slowly try to separate the two prong like things that poke through the bracket.

Not sure if any of that makes sense. Wish I would have taken pictures for you.

It's easy, just take your time and be gentle.

So I've been really slacking on updating this.

I accepted a new job in florida so I've been dealing with that and also trying to get this car together/house ready to list.

I took pictures along the way so ill post those here.

First I got the blower sat down in place. MMR oil relocation installed
Ken Miley alt with a 3.2 pulley and big 3 kit installed.

Also a shot of the front MM Coilovers

For the fuel system, I put the regulator in the passengerside fender well. I added an elbow so I can easily see/adjust the fuel pressure without taking anything apart. Fuel filter is below the pass side door with another gauge.

Installed a SOS pod with an AEM/AEROFORCE combo

Mgw short throw.

Coil overs installed, loading tune and a shot of the new vanity plates.

Fired it up and did the first round of datalogging for Kevin.

I still need to take it to the exhaust shop to get my bassabi catback fitted. The xpipe I bought had dumps welded on and they were too long and hit the IRS frame

I'll be happy to get back down there once the move and everything is complete...

Its so stressful trying to get everything in place to move across country though. Lol.

We just couldn't deal with the cold. We have snow in the forecast this weekend....blah

It's really looking good, Nate. The engine bay pops! When you finish, you'll never want to let it go.

How did you wire up the pumps? Always on or did you use the fpdm for oe actuation?

Yes its a 3g alt. So far so good, I've only idled so far but I'm seeing constant 14.3 voltage.

I'm moving to the Orlando area. Still undecided exactly where but somewhere between Ocala, Orlando and tampa. I'll be working in sumterville.

I love just north of Gainesville, keep me posted, we can hook up. NPD is in Ocala, I can give you a tour of their collection. When do you expect to move?

I used the FDPM and a pico relay in conjunction with FC3. There is a schematic floating around these boards that shows exact how to do it.

I'll be down there mid June. Not sure when the car will be down there though, trying to decide on a transport company to move it down or just move it myself. I'll get ahold of you for sure. I plan to drive this thing all over!!

Thanks I appreciate it.

I'm coming down in a couple weeks to check it out. I'm thinking we are going to live in the Clermont/Minneloa.

Close to the city but still a manageable commute to my job.

Any suggestions in and around that area?

A little exhaust pipe mirror polishing and a random shot in the sunlight.

Car goes in Thursday to get the exhaust put on.

1 3/4 American Racing Headers with matching 3inch x pipe mated to the 3 inch bassani catback.

Excited to hear it.
