Looking to add chrome wheels and tires to my 14 GT500. I see CJ’s Pony Parts. Anybody have experience with these folks and their products?

Hooray! Somebody still likes chrome. :) Not raggin' on ya dude, I LOVE chrome and polished alum wheels.

I've bought stuff from CJ's and they've been good.

I am a chrome wheel fan myself, I spent so much on my bike this winter they are going to have to wait a while. When I was a kid my dad worked at Snap on and everything I could take off was chrome plated FREE.

Thank you OP and baby Jesus for not putting black wheels on it. Black wheels are soooooooooooooooo played TF out.
CJ pony parts is reputable, just make sure you speed balance them. When I bought my wheels my rear had a wobble. I won't say who it was because they made it right.

If it don't go, chrome it....

All kidding aside, chrome works on the right wheel. Personally, I would go with a polished aluminum over chrome.

Wheel style and color is heavily subjective. Which is why you should always buy what you like, and like what you buy. Thankfully we have so many great choices to fulfill our likes and preferences. Post a photo of the wheels you go with after installation.

I was thinking while driving earlier.

1. An option that would work to your benefit, is maybe select a Forgestar wheel design that you like, get it in the dimensions that work for you.

2. Send it off to get chromed yourself.

I have noticed that American Muscle, CJ, LMR, do not cater to much to the GT500 crowd. A lot of their wheel specs are not designed for the GT500 guys.

I actually just sold a set of chrome forgestars, CF10s. I did exactly what I just outlined above to get the chrome wheel I wanted

I know some folks. If you want more details, just let me know

Chrome = Classic = TIMELESS. Will never go out of style.
Black = Fad = Will fade into oblivion with teal cars. Remember hub caps? Black wheels remind me of an older car with black steel wheels that someone stole the hub caps off of.

Chrome stock wheels for me. Goes with my chrome interior trim....

I am a fan of chrome as well. Bob said it best, get what you like it is your car.
I sent a set of factory wheels on an 06 gto to be chromed and received compliments on them constantly.

I always thought those were some of the nicest factory wheels ever made!

Agreed. Along with the C5 Z06 wheels, which look almost identical.

Very cool. I myself had a set of 2006 Mustang GT factory twin-spoke wheels chromed. Probably one set of only a handful ever to hit the roads in chrome.

That looks really good! Any more pictures?

Thanks.
I took this pic when I test fitted a Demon sized NT05 drag radial, so only a few lugs on. I ended up going with them.
