So turned on the AC (outside air) and got blasted by raw fuel smell. Max AC (cabin air) new car smell coming through the vents.

Got home, and went to the factory fuel rail that has an ADD ON autometer Guage.
Looks like this set screw is leaking, and has fuel residue on it.

Instinctively, I wanted to just tighten it. But does this adjust fuel pressure or anything before I go turning it?

Thought fuel pressure was all electronically controlled. And adjusted through tuning parameters, not mechanically?

That’s the electronic sensor’s function. Seems to be another plugged port.

Thinking about removing the screw once everything cools down, apply red loctite, reinstall. Thoughts?

Than remove it when I install the new blower and Fore rails. Obviously the original owner just wanted cool guages. Cause I sure wouldnt have put this on factory fuel rails lol

If you use teflon tape, or a liquid sealer, make sure they are gasoline or petroleum safe. Don't use the blue container colored teflon which is only for water! When you use teflon tape for natural gas it comes in a yellow colored container. I am not sure if that would be gasoline safe though.

NO Loctite. Good advise on gasoline compatible teflon paste. That looks like a pipe thread plug, should snug up
without too much tq.

This block is from Shelby, it comes with the shelby center guages for the 07-09, or you can buy it by itself. If you search for the center gauges install you'll find the instruction and IIRC the instructions says just tighten it and don't put any type of sealer.
I still got very small leak, so I did use teflon tape on the little plug, and just tightened the heck out of the sensor and no leaks.
