well thought I had gotten one but seller backed out last min. Bad thing is I spent $800 in low lead fuel lol. My buddy has a flight school and was gonna pick me up and take me to where car is. Oh well please be certain you want to sell in the event you reach out to me. No grudges search continues

Man I know exactky what you mean. People just dont keep their word anymore. Had a similar experience myself.

I never argued his straight up asking price. Like I mentioned ain’t holding grudges just wish we could of made a deal!

Same here! Some sellers should honestly consider looking at market before they price their cars.
But they own it so they could name their own price lol.

I feel your pain.

I made a deal for my current car at 23.5k... Went with the seller to a local performance shop for a compression check. Shook hands, I'll be back to pick it up tomorrow kinda deal.

Get a message the next morning... "Hey man. I can't sell this car unless i get 26k." WTF... I just drove 1.5 hrs, paid for the compression check and fuel to get there and back and now you had a change of heart and need more money? Cmon man...

I fought with myself about what to do for 3 or 4 days but in the end, I ended up buying it because it was semi local, I had already done the compression check so I knew it was good and the car was clean and well taken care of..

I figured I'd spend 2500 worht of my time and money looking for another one and getting it to me so i licked my wounds and paid the 26... Previous owner was like "if you ever go to sell it, make sure you give me first dibbs" .... Yeah, I will and then raise the price on you 10k...

Black 04 coupe on CarGurus. 35xxx miles for 28k seems nice. Plus you get the 9 thread heads if that matters to you.
