Strangest mail you've accidentally (or not) received

The other month I was waiting for some WiFi cameras to be delivered, and when I got home from work the wife told me a package came for me, but not in a good tone. I thought I was in trouble for spending too much money...the package was addressed to me but when I looked it was filled with a lot of lingerie and underwear, some of it nice and fancy and NOT my wife's size. The cup size was HUGE. There were some interesting thoughts and comments going back and forth as we tried to figure it out - we order a lot of stuff online. I was on her radar for a while after that haha. I told her that sometimes I'm dumb, but not dumb enough to be shipping that to me at my house if I had a sidepiece. Thanks a lot, USPS!

Not sure this will go anywhere, but wanted to see what surprising mail you've received - something strange meant for your neighbor or roommate, etc.

I bought a house back in the 70's from a business man and wife. For about a year after, I received X rated mail from the film and magazine sites.

I've been holding onto an unopened piece for a number of years now. Oddly enough it was addressed to me and came from The Clarion Fund from NYC. Hell, it's best just to show you.

It's a review scam I guess.

Apparently new vendors on some ecommerce sites won't be allowed to be reviewed without a confirmed purchase. So the vendor "pays" for an item, and then sends it to an address, and writes their own review.

Happened to my sister in law, they got a free speaker/bluetooth light bulb out of it.

Ive heard a few different reasons stuff like that happens - sellers will place orders like that and ship it off to a name/address they have so they can then leave a bunch of great reviews for themselves. Others involve theft where it was supposed to be intercepted at some point in the chain but got away from them.

I dated some crazy chick for a couple of weeks, after I broke it off there was a 3 page (front and pack) letter in my mailbox with no postage. I was definitely keeping an eye out for her car anytime I was outside/leaving for the next week or 3.

Called the carrier and they didn't know - only answer was it got mislabeled somehow at one of their sites. Yeah, this might come up again :/

One of the theories I brought up to try and ease any suspicion on my end is maybe she was late night shopping on her phone and simply made a mistake. Maybe she was so tired that she didn't remember, but she says she never heard of the company and she even checked her phone haha. I didn't make the mistake of suggesting maybe she was planning an elective surgery and stocking up on supplies...that probably would not have not gone over well. She still doesn't like one of my female friends who commented to her years ago on fb that "I love your boyfriend" in just a friendly way, because, you know, I was just so awesome.

For years as a child I got beauty pageant sign-up information addressed to Clin.... my name, as a guy, had a ‘t’ on the end. My dad enjoyed that for years.

And I was sent a Bosley Hair Replacement information packet from a family member once. Many people enjoyed that as well.

get a package, I was like WTF, not expecting anything., open it up

victory secret order......panties, thongs, bras .....some naughty stuff. Somehow I found the person on nextdoor app....she comes to my house and picks it up. God I wish I was single.....would have banged the **** outta her for sure. Wifey was not too happy when I saw panties (or the girl at my door)

Well it's never killed a human or anything but it's done a few MacGuyver type things, the pen was used to fill out game tags, etc..,
