New Coyote A50XS crate engine is leaking oil into the spark plug tubes.
I have less than 300 miles on the 5.0 Aluminator Crate engine and noticed some oil getting on the passenger side header.
After some investigating, it seems the valve cover, spark plug tube seals got mangled on the engine build. Cylinders 2 & 3 plug holes were full of oil.
Since the engine was built with their most apt mechanics and this occurred, thought I would ask for tips on replacing the seals.
I have a new valve cover with tube seals installed. It seems like, lube the seals, set it in place and bolt down.
Anyone got advise for avoiding what happened previously?
thanks,
