Sounds like 3" Magnaflow Competition series would have been perfect for you. They were on my car when I bought it, sounded killer, turned heads. If you end up not digging the Corsas, I'll sell the Magnaflow comps, I have the 3" over axle pipes and the axle backs themselves in my garage. If I didn't drive the car almost every day when the weather is nice, I would have just kept that set up on the car. I remember the first time I started the car, I said "damn" lol But with a rear seat delete, it was just too loud.

No drone with the Magnas? I thought I hear Magnaflow stuff droned a bit?
Brother, every exhaust you are going to install will drone at some RPM. I have had almost all of them on the quest for no drone. If someone tells you an exhaust they have doesn't drone, they don't drive their car like you do, they don't hear the drone or they're blowing smoke up your ass lol. That's why earlier I stated how subjective it all is. Even with the video you were going to post, every one will hear something different so it's a mute point. But yes, the Magnaflow have a drone at around 2500 rpm cruising due to their volume

Interesting.....
Well one thing I will say from the video I captured is my stock mufflers were raspier than I thought they were.
The Borlas were pretty much about the same.
I know the Corsa is gonna be a rasp monster. Just hoping I can deal with them.

Saw your post a bit ago on IG and watched the video. Pretty sure it gave me the final push I needed and sold me on the Touring mufflers. Like you said, volume wise they seemed very comparable but the tone seemed deeper and less raspy...win win for me. Thanks for the vids!

glad it helped out your decision. If not for anything else, atleast if it can help others make a decision.

Well, it may feel a little rushed, but here is the video showing the mufflers. I tried to keep it short and sweet to keep people's attention, but get the point across

Nice video, from a personal opinion i think those borla sounded great on your car. But to each there own. Thanks for the video.

I dont think they sounded bad by any means, but for $500+, I did not feel they provided any value over stock other than a nice tip. They seemed more subdued than my OEM mufflers.

Thanks for watching, i appreciate the support!

I have the same basic exhaust as what you shared in the video however I have the Ford Racing version of the Borla Tourings. Mine have a lot of miles on them and Borla or any other packed muffler will break in and get considerably Louder. In my experience Corsa will be among the loudest. I Know if i stand on it my Borlas are pretty dang loud.

my stocks get loud if I stand in them too. If these were quieter at every other range but +$500 investment that didn’t make much sense to me.

The Borlas will break in and be much louder than stock. I have seen it first hand.

its been awhile since I have had brand new mufflers and I would tend to agree, but the fear of losing money to sound quieter than stock scares me.
Most people say they get more quiet in time, although that makes no sense to me.
I may regret my new decision even more. I guess time will tell.

They will not get quieter. They will get louder. I had Spintech on mine and they sounded good but were crazy loud. I put stock mufflers on and it was much quieter but I didn't like the sound. The Borlas were the best of both worlds but they definitely break in and get louder. I have a new set on a pickup but the Pro XS series and they are already getting louder after only a couple weeks. My only complaints with them on my Shelby is the weird sound they have at about 1/3 throttle during medium acceleration and at WOT they are a bit loud and everyone knows I am having a little fun in the thing. It's comparable to my 70 Mach 1 with the cutouts open.

So for anyone that was following this thread and my other thread, I purchased the Borla Tourings and was not happy with them. I then sent them back and got Corsa Sports and boy were they just too much! lol.
I have since added Vibrant 18" resonators and man did it not only get rid of the bad rasp, but it cleaned up the tone a bit and now kinda sounds like a v8 car and not a Honda with a broken PepBoys muffler. lol.

For anyone that cares to see the videos through the the process, here is the latest one with the Corsa's with the resonators on. You can see the other videos in the series with the other exhaust setups as well if you browse through the channel

Glad to hear you've found something that suits your taste. I finally removed my Borla Tourings and replaced with my new Bassani Axlebacks. I"m pleased with the sound and that they don't drone at any RPM. Have already had a couple of compliments from random drivers. Only other exhaust mods are X-pipe (unknown make) and hi-flo CATs.

Here's a brief cell phone video clip of them (yah, sound quality is no where near yours!). I had already driven the car around a bit before taking this clip.

I watched your vid, skipped over the vent part and wish to say "good job Man".
I had a good feeling the corners of your lips would raise after welding in the Vibrant 18" resonators, same as mine did.
