WTI crude just hit negative $40 a barrel

We just tried to have our scrap oil pumped today and the driver informed me before pumping that their prices had skyrocketed to 2.68/gal for them to pump it. We passed on that because we have 100 gallon tank but they dont even want to take the oil anymore because they are just storing it he said.

i think we were told .80/gallon for waste oil

How recent was that? I just called and scheduled it last week and they never gave me the price on the phone, but the driver told me that the prices had just gone up so I'm not sure on the time frame of when it changed.

In case anybody really wants to know how bad it really is for the oil and gas industry

one of the largest oil companies in the world.. just shut down its location today with ZERO notice .. in the largest oil producing county in America

last week I think, not sure how long that price was good for
