Got tired of how far down the OEM plastic chin splitter hangs, so I replaced it with a TruFiber CF version that (I think) looks better and increases ground clearance. Process was simpler, fitment was better, fasteners were much easier to deal with (nothing but bolts/screws that are all simply reused), and splitter feels more solid than a simlar swap I recently did on my C7Z. As a GT500 owner, I'm happy to report Ford's (and TruFiber's) design is better than Chevy's. (As a C7Z owner, I'm slightly less happy about that.)

Like everything else I've upgraded/changed on the car, I'm keeping it as a spare.

Thanks! It looked better when first done, four years and 15K miles ago. Probably time to repaint it.

I’m honestly shocked you’ve had it on this long- I haven’t had the bottom three piece and the top splitter on mine is cracked but I just don’t see the point in replacing it since even that does rub a bit. I actually as of 5 mins ago ordered a radiotor fin brush and I think I’ll have my wife cricket a stencil.
Guess I’ll see how involve pulling the front off is!

Very nice how much was it
Thanks. It's been about six months since I bought it but, IIRC, it was about $700 ($570 for the splitter + $130 S&H). It took a while to arrive, but was delivered by a specialty freight company and was packaged very well.

FWIW, that was the best real deal I found at the time. An online place called StangMods advertised it for less, but they canceled my order (claiming a backorder situation) and shortly thereafter marked-up the price. The good news is they refunded my money. The bad news is they falsely advertised a low-ball price on something they refused to deliver, so I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

It looks great! I have a black car, and have thought about adding a few carbon fiber pieces. The front splitter was one of them.
