All the races. His car is still faster. I planned on having TB and new 1320 Intake on before running him, but development took too long.. I'll go back for a 3rd beating when i go back to 2.75 upper and 10% lower ( upper is slipping so may as well add another psi too) TB and intake are on now as well. Should be much closer.. if he doesnt make any changes

one thing is for sure, PalmBeach Dyno has this car running strong, i doubt many other cars can rip 20 times a day with no issues like mine can.

Also, the 1320 port is hands down the best port there is. this is fact, not opinion ;)

You're definitely right there with him now compared to the first races. Looks like the GT500 trans is taking it like a champ as well.

These videos have me excited since I'm putting a modded LT5 with more power than his in a car that weighs 1400lbs less than that ZR1.

Fun to watch the video’s but dang I would be concerned that sheriff Buford T Justice would be waiting in the weeds. A guy would lose his license for years based on the speeds you are running on public roads.

Looks like a bunch of fun. Be safe, well, as safe as you can be, out there. I'd like to see some dig races at the track between these 2 beauties!

well, to be fair, i know his real hp and real 60-130s. but i enjoy watching a lot of people head his way thinking they are fast, and then realizing how the real world works lol. that motor is no dud, i think he takes it to 7300 or so as well

The c7 zr1 is no effing slouch... especially one modded.

Any idea what he or you are trapping?

Do you know if he's running anything more than the dual springs and hardened pushrods as far as valve train goes, like lifters? I have his mods plus some Johnson race lifters and have been wondering when type of RPM can be run. Info is pretty sparse on the LT5. Looks like 7300 is okay though.

I know everyone that runs 4.x sec 60-130s runs over 150mph.. Myself and everyone i know has been tryign to get me into a track rental for the last 3 weeks. No other GT500s have posted any 60-130 or drag times, even though theyve been to the tracks recently. so we dont, we just dont know yet

comparable cars ive run all trap over 150.. just need to see for ourselves

Understood. I was just asking because you noted that you knew his "real" HP figure. That made me think he may have done a little more than the standard LMR1000 package which comes with a cam, valve spring kit, hardened pushrods, pulley, tune, and full exhaust. Thanks for the reply.

So, can we see this GT500 race the Whipple'd GT that ran the same ZR1 recently?

That looks like it might be a good race...
