I'm looking to remove window tint from my truck without damaging the defrosters in the back glass. I was able to pull the tint off the back door windows very easy with just a hair dryer leaving zero glue and residue behind. I'm just concerned about trying it on the back glass.

Anyone done this? The tint seems very high quality and very very thick and with the truck being a 2017, it couldn't have been on for long.

If it came off easy on the windows without defrost just use the same method on the window with defrost. Removing the tint itself isn't going to peel up the defrost strips or anything.

Use a fabric steamer like suggested already. Undiluted simple green to get off any remaining adhesive. It will get off the adhesive and not damage your interior panels. You can use a little acetone on a towelettes to remove the glue also but you are living dangerously if it gets on anything else.
