With this situation going on....I've been hanging out with neighbors on my block more than ever in 5 years. Yesterday I took several different people on rides in the cobra. I should have had video. The reactions were hilarious. First scared....then excited...to its already over? Everyone got a tail wagging 30-100 blast. IAT2s got hot as hell....mofo just kept pulling like a freight train.

set up a stand in front of your driveway, $5 a ride

Bwahaha...good idea. Recoup some ethanol cost. Damn, I forgot how fast that tank needle moves left when you're hotlapping E85. Must have burned a 1/4 tank in under an hour.

C16 and street cruising don't match well either

25,000 miles or 40,000km since I'm Canadian. I've been doing it for 15+ years, never had an engine failure. Keep in mind though these are commercial vehicles so 40k can go by in 2 months. Here's my current highest mileage vehicle, a 2014 Honda Odyssey. The photo is from a while ago so it's now just under 800k. Still on the original, unopened engine and trans. 40k oil changes since new.
That's fantastic!

Well not exactly something for the cobra today but it will be in the future. Found a 97 cobra motor with a bad rod. Teksid block and Kellogg crank are i need from it. Too good a deal to pass up, $250. Hopefully my stock shortblock holds together so I can slowly gather the parts to build this one.
Will tear it down this week to make sure all looks good. Glad I finally found one local I could pick up

Had a conjugal visit with my Cobra today in storage quarantine. Put the battery back in, checked my SC and radiator fluid levels and had a tiny gap in the crossover tube. Since it had a small leak when I put her away last year that I had no time to find I wanted to make sure nothing was dry so I threw my lisle funnel on the crossover and topped her off with a splash of coolant.

Now for the weird part, all of the coolant you see below the front bumper is what I spilled from the funnel waiting to add more coolant. Ran the car up to temp and the funnel is still full, popped the cap on my SC tank and its still full. Look underneath and I still have the drip coming down the back side of the motor from somewhere. At least I know shes ready to come home next week so I can get her on jack stands so I can sort that leak out.

Anyone have any suggestions on what it may be??? I cant recall the level in my SC coolant tank, while its not dry I usually fill it to the top and it was down some when I looked. None of the SC lines were leaking or wet that I could see.

No possibility it could have dropped below 32 inside that garage, correct? What water to coolant ratio do you recall using in the heat exchanger? Freezing temps....too much water, not enough coolant is not a good recipe for the intercooler

Started dripping in October of last year, my garage didnt get below freezing by then, that garage is heated to 55 plus all year long, always use a 50/50 premix.

Could it be the o-rings for the hard line that runs under the intake? I think a friend of mine has the same mystery leak. So if you find it please post it.

Absolutely, got any pics of that area and or what is required for access/repair???
I don't have any pics, but the blower has to come off. And there's one or two bolts holding the tube in place by a bracket at the back of the driver side head.

It's the return line for the heater core and runs right down the center of the valley under the lower intake. The metal pipe can rust out and leak or the o-ring seals at the back of the water pump can fail. The coolant will run out the back of the valley and then down the trans to the floor.

This is a 2V 4.6 but you get the idea.
