Looking for any pictures, detailed of the joker paint scheme. Have car and I am going to redo the Joker paint. I have some pictures but would like more detailed photos to be able to complete this task. I have had the car for the last 10 years and have used it for open tracking. I also have another one so I really want this one to stand out. I am sure this will cause conflict but I guess I should have bought it earlier.

There were a bunch of photos on here from that car. I have no idea if they survived over the years. Why not the Rosie's livery? That was iconic on the back cover of the SVT Recognition Guide.

You probably already have this one. From page 104 of the 'SVT Mustang Cobra Recognition Guide - 1993-2000'.

I do question your sanity, as "The Joker" was a horrid idea for a Cobra "R", any Cobra "R". At the time of tear down, I thought the owner who decided to paint it that way had more money than brains. If you still really want to go through with a duplication of "The Joker" paint scheme, PM me your mailing address (over 100 megs of files) and I'll send what I have.

HOWEVER, you must promise to leave my hidden signature where you find it :D

Bill

i do have the Rosie Diner pictures, none of them fully show car, mostly a white car with stickers. I always liked the joker and as a race car it seems to be the part. Car has been used as it was supposed to be and is not pristine by any means. I want to wrap car so I will not be painting it. They are all white, I like white, I just have one that is stock never tracked and low miles. I have had that car since 2010 and tripled its mileage, it now has 3000 miles. Rosie is just shy of 19000, and been mostly done open track duty. Thanks, I wish I could have gotten it then. Brent

Sent you a private conversation with the tracking number. look forward to seeing the project progress now that I know it will only be a wrap.

Someone told me me (incorrectly) that Bill (aka, mrmustang) had passed away (club-cobra).

I am sure glad that Bill is still with us. He has worked on and maybe owned the Rosie car.

Bill,
I am sure glad that you are still here.

Who in the heck on clubcobra said I was deceased and what were they smoking/drinking at the time?

As for the Rosie Diner car, I did not own it, but yes, I had it in my shop and did the tear down and stock repaint back in in March and April of 2008. I had the honor of having many "R" model and FR500's in my shop for race related repairs, always under the radar per the owners/customers requests. Johnny Mac (SDW Racing here) had no such concerns and it is my understanding, enjoyed the thread I started (CLICK HERE) during the rejuvenation. Pictures do not show up in the old thread, but what I had has gone to the new owner as stated above.

Bill,
I asked about you and that was the answer. Not sure of the name.

I really figured you were still around. You and your younger bride have settled now in SC?

Congratulations.

I assume it is with a Ford? You know more than anyone when it comes to rare old Mustangs and Cobra's.

My brother lives in Greenville, S.C. and is not a car guy (he drives a Buick).

Outside of the auto industry :D

As for your brother, he is family, and family always comes first. Find you way up this way, let me know.
