Comparing a manual transmission with a guy missing gears in a car made of plastic that is 10 years old that makes 200RWHP less vs DA WORLDZ FATSETZ in DA WORLD new 500 with a DUAL CLUTH TRANSMISSION with a bigger blower, more cams and valves, carbon fiber and twice as expensive! WINNING!

Evolution has the fastest 2020 gt500 currently. Why do you keep on claiming that Iconic's is the fastest?
There is less than 100whp difference between the cars but the gt500 weighs roughly 750lbs more. The gt500 makes 920whp and the zr1 should be at 850whp with the mods it has.
Both cars are fast as shit and they are 100% street cars. I don't see why there is hate on either vehicle.
Word. Just noticed that. Very subtle with how abruptly the vid ended at that point. Doesn't change what I've seen countless times over the years though. Not from all, but a lot.
Downplay corvettes? In my first post I say that I'd take the c6 before the 500. My second post goes on to say my opinion has nothing to do with corvettes themselves, but many of the owners. Not sure how much clearer I can be on that, but ok.

This is a very common online practice these days by the jealous trolls . When a jealous troll has nothing to show for , the frustration kicks in by looking at other guys heaving nice toys and racing them . Troll isn't smart enough to figure out how to make money these days so it's cheaper to troll and downplay other people accomplishments to make him look tougher

4225-3373=852lbs
GT500, +825lbs, +100hp...the POS GT500 should have lost with magazine racing, it wasn't even close!

I'm not going to make excuses as to why this C6 ZR1 lost since the driver needs to learn how to shift a manual properly however, you need to watch the video again.
Iconic's 500 is pretty stout but NO WAY IN HELL his car weighs 4225lbs (maybe with him in it), just like that ZR1 is not 3373lbs.
Did you rewatch the video? Did you happen to see the other passenger sitting shotgun in the ZR1? Yeah maybe you should recalculate the weight difference between the two cars they are NOT 852lbs. apart.
Again these cars don't drive themselves. It's funny most of you would quote a weight without people on a competitor's car and include the driver weight in the Ford to make it look like the Shelby is SO HEAVY and still so fast...……………..KEEP IT FAIR and quote the proper weights of BOTH CARS!!!!!
If both cars only had 1 driver and the idiot in the ZR1 can properly shift those gears it probably would be a decent race.

No, it just means you built a car that's faster than a stock C7 ZR1. You're a winner if you pick on AMP's ZR1 or SS717's ZR1 that's built up as much or more than your car and you beat them.

I hate to break this to you but the 2020 gt500 is a 4225lb car. With driver it's going to tip the scales at 4400lbs. The next thing you're going to tell me is Hellcats and Demon's aren't fast because they are 4200-4500lbs.

Yes the zr1 had a passenger. The curb weight is provided by manufacturer and is without passengers, that means the GT500 weights MORE than 4225 and same with the vette.
Basically, the new GT500 runs VERY hard, especially for weight and can handle it self around corners. It was trashed the entire time before it's release and so far, it is exceeding expectations.
So if Ford said the curb weight (no driver) of a GT500 is 4225 lbs. they are wrong. Without driver they are around 4100-4150lbs with some gas in the tank. Without fuel or very low fuel they are 4050-4080 lbs. Did you see this vid?
So Iconic's car with let's say low fuel @ 4080 lbs. + 200 lbs for driver (he's a pretty big guy and most likely weighs more) so his car with a driver is 4280 lbs.
That ZR1 @ 3400 lbs. with some fuel + 1 pass and 1 driver (again 200 lbs. each) = 3800 lbs. so the difference in weight here between the cars with people in this race is 480 lbs. not what you quoted @ 850+ lbs.
Add a passenger to the 500 and it's still not near 850 lbs. so basically don't quote curb weight (no driver) for one car and tell us the other car is heavier cause it has a driver.

In my world those Mopars are fast but not fast enough (I'll give the Demon credit as it is a straighline monster and is built for 1/4 mile action).
Stock for stock out in the real world they are no match for a C7 ZR1.
