Supercharger Shipping Cost

Has anyone sold and shipped a supercharger setup? I’ll be packing and shipping a Roush 2300 setup, complete with lower intake, throttle body, injectors and a belt tensioner/brackets.

I have no idea what it might cost via FedEx and would appreciate any insight.

Box, weight and destination determine cost. Last time I shipped a Whipple it was about $65

Well over 100 if insured property.

I think I paid 150 to ship a 2.6 kb to cali with 2k insurance

And 100 or so to ship a 2.9 whipple to GA with 3k insurance.

Nate, was that with FedEx? I once shipped a ported Eaton by FedEx (insurance was probably around $1000) and I remember paying something like $70. I might be a tad off on the price, but I know it wasn't more than $75.

Thanks guys. That is not too bad. I had asked about this at one of the local shipping stores, albeit using estimates for weight and box size and it was some ridiculous amount exceeding $300.

I shipped an Eaton with all accessories and it was a little over $110. I had them pack it and insure it in case it got damaged. Kinda steep but peace of mind.

I shipped a kenne bell last summer from nj to colorado. with insurance IIRC it was about $160 via UPS

I should also mentioned I had them package the one shipped to california.

Mine shipped from CT to MO. Very possible my insurance coverage was lower than the $1000 that I thought I added. It was also many price increases ago. LOL.

$65-75ish if you pack it yourself and the insurance cost makes a difference.

75-150. Make sure you package it yourself with heavy foam all around. If you let ups pack it for you they'll toss it in a box with packing peanuts and it will be trashed when it gets there.
