Gen2R vs Gen3

Hi everyone, I currently have the Gen2R with my MMR built shortblock with a 2.4 pulley. All the usual boltons with long tubes and O/R Pipe. Currently puts down 700 at the wheels. How much more potential is there with the Gen2R? Is it worth going to the Gen3 ? Basically just want it as a street car. Thanks for your opinions!

I made 965rwhp SAE on a stock compression built 5.8 with a maxed out ported 2R. With a stock unported Gen3 it made 1045rwhp.
But, the boost didn’t drop off nearly as bad with the bigger Gen3.
Unless you want to make over 850rwhp, you haven’t maxed out your Gen2R.
I’m assuming you’re on pump 93 at 700rwhp, so your biggest gains will be from good fuel. I prefer E85.
