Who is ready to see what Whipple is whipping up now? The 3.8L has all the same info, key words, etc. as the 3.0L, but has new and improved rotor profile, increased volume with increased sealing, updated inlet shape for increased efficiency.

This thing is going to scream!

The new gt500 will respond really well to this 1000hp?

Easy.
And if your a stick guy, should be downright nasty on a 12:1 GT350!
Still not happy with Ford on the low compression GT500 but I know why and you just need to run more boost.
These Whipples really build boost higher in the powerband, which is right where you want it for these cars.
The stock TVS2650 is still 1000hp capable, just the intercooler and TB/inlet will be much better on the Whipple.

The Whipple will make the same power with far less stress than the stock blower, plus have lots of headroom for growth.

Exactly.
I really like the stock 2650 TVS and know it’s easily 1000hp capable, but I’m disappointed by the inlet design. This 3.8 Whipple will just be better all around and have a better design.
Looking forward to the testing and results.

What do you guys expect torque curve will shift by, about 1000rpm north?

That would help traction, no qualm here. I think the usable limit of torque at 2000rpm is basically met on a stock tire gt500 with bolt ons if not bone stock. The torque management is pulling power at low rpm/1st gear so there’s that.
