I have the Quick Jack. Speed is what I really like about it. No more corner by corner jacking. I'm doing the big 3 and just finished adding my EGR system back in. I would have hated to raise and lower the car over and over again with a jack and stands (I've done it in the past). I was surprised how stable it is. Works great with the Stifflers SFC.

The quick jacks are heavy and a PITA to move around when not being used, I tried a set for a weekend. Also, you cannot get under the car from the side which is a HUGE downside! I have cheap 3" race ramps I drive on every time I pull into my garage and a long reach low profile jack. I can have the car on 4 jackstands in about 5-7 minutes.

I got my lift from EZ Carlift ( www.ezcarlift.com ) Made in California. Good height. The center is completely open. Only problem I have is that my torque arm hits the rear cross bar. However, the rear cross bar is removable and I can drop the rear down a little more. You can see in the picture that is what I will have to do to get my differential out if i want more working room.

That EZ one looks sweet but I wish it was heavier duty. If I'm going to drop this kind of coin I want something that can lift my truck haha

We used it to change the suspension on my brothers Siverado. I’m not sure what the maximum weight rating is supposed to be but it got the job done.

Hmm, the website said 4400 max. I just get nervous operating that close to capacity on most things.

I will say that I have used this mostly for my Mustang. I have done the complete front and rear suspension (torque arm, panhard bar, coilovers). I just did a T56 swap. Did my full exhaust. Doing my rear differential 31 spline upgrade. And lots, lots more. It has been a real champ. I have also used this for my Mercedes E320 and BMW M5 for various repairs. The two option I got were the ramp extensions and you MUST get the ground clearance kit. I originally got the drive over kit but all of my cars are too low to clear the ramps. The ground clearance kit allows you to drive onto the lift. The best thing about this versus the others is that you have full access from the sides as well as nothing blocking the center where the powertrain is.

I have the Quick Jack and I love it, it's very stable and solids well. It works well on my lowered Cobra and is fast to use. They have small wheels on one end so they move fairly easy. The one downside is no side access but to me thats not a huge issue. I purchased mine when Costco had them on sale. I hope this helps you.

Can you use the pinch welds with the quick jacks? with the pinch weld blocks, they sell? to give you more room under there ( it will move the Quick jacks out more allowing more room down the center

Yes. If you have SFCs you will have more room and use the standard blocks.

I have wanted these for a while now. My wife has become her mother!! I have to have 9000 reasons why I need something, to replace something, I already have that works just fine but is a lot more work. Bad part is I have 2 low profile 2 ton aluminum racing jacks and 4 hydraulic lift jack stands. They have worked great, but I would like the quick jacks. Anyone have a good reason i could use on my wife to convince her I need these other than my age. She wants me to stay active, go figure.(work me to death)

It's safer

It's easier on your body

It's quicker and will allow you do work on ALL the cars more easily

This is how I am selling a small 2 post like the maxjax or triump c7000 to my wife. The fact that I work on all our cars helps my case greatly.
