So my alternator went. It was a brand called tuff stuff that I bought from Summit Racing a few years ago. I purchases a stock replacement from DB electrical for $75. If it gets me a few months ill be happy. Swapping alternators is pretty Easy. Figuring I have no audio upgrades, and the pumps take 14 amps each I should be ok with a stock replacement.

I went with a stock replacement and it went well. I got my from Amazon for a v6 amd it was brand new, not a reman. I had to change the post on the back...and maybe the pulley? Its been a while lol.

Not sure. I will probably have to trailor it to whatever shop I choose. Trying to find a good shop in the Cleveland area.

So looks like the path I'm going to take is to install a wideband, and have my guy do remote tuning to get the car running good with the 3.5" pulley so I can enjoy. Later this summer I'll get to the dyno with a couple pulleys and get a good E85 tune and 93 tune.

Just ordered a innovative mtxl plus wideband, E85 test kit, colum mount gauge holder, a pair of Nitto NT05r tires for the back, and firewire connector to hook up the wideband to my XCAL 4. Also I'm going to try a no weld bung for the 02 sensor. If it don't work I'll take it to a shop and have it welded. We'll see how it goes. I am tired of spending money on this car ugh.

I wouldn't risk that, have a whole tune built on bad O2 info. I had one of those clamp on O2 bungs on an aftermarket tbi efi setup and it leaked.

I have a appointment at a local exaust shop to weld in the 02 bung, the only spot really is at the collector. The shop said they can weld on a stainless long tube no problem....gotta do it right. The next few days I'll install my wide band and get it dialed in and data logging through my XCAL4 & Livewire. I also have a pair of drag radials read to go on (Nitto NT05R's).

After the wideband is in and good to go I'll start remote tuning this thing....idle, part throttle driving ect. Once that is good to go I have a AWD mustang dyno at my work so I will use that to dial in my WOT pulls, and dial in the boost with a pulley change if I need to. Whats nice with that is no one is really using the dyno here so I can strap my car to it and leave it on there for days / weeks to tinker & tune it until I'm satisfied.

Fingers crossed that there is nothing going on or will happen mechanically that will stop my final results. (fingers crossed)

Well that's convenient, wish I had a mustang dyno I had unlimited access too. Would be much easier than making wot pulls on the hwy.
Get those drag radials on, you're going to need them!
