C6 ZR1 are stupid fast with a little work. Even with the SC, it's still a very light platform.

Why did u sell the Shelby? Could have put a bigger blower/r85 and been fine against most hci z cars.

What’s the fun in beating a vette with a vette? Boosted coyote should do the trick. Be even better if you did it with a stick. Butt hurt would be immense.

Agree. Men that win with sticks are very few these days.

I "think" those boosted A10 cars are pretty quick. LOL

YOU know that's right brotha!

Ha! when i started drag racing in the late 90s it seemed like all of my losses were to VW bugs... true story.

I was gonna post that too haha

From a dig maybe... but most street races these days are rolls so in that case, probably not a GTR. There are faster/cheaper options out there today.... unless you plan to go big money then by all means have at it lol........
Huh? Gtrs have killed at all the big roll races events for the past few years.

As the title states if you were to buy a car with the intention of walking a c6 z06 with hci what would it be? There are a few c6zs running around my neighborhood and the baddest one has hci. I just sold my 2012 gt500 but it got me thinking, what would be the best platform to beat a c6z. I would personally say a blown 2018+ 5.0 with the A10. I'm just trying to see if I've overlooked any venerable platform.
You had the wrong GT500, that's all.

A 2012 GT500

with a blower upgrade(or switch to turbo's), built engine, full exhaust, fuel system, E85 tune, and a rear tire.

But, since you got rid of a good platform, I don't understand the question.

Why did you sell it?
