I want to make a "positive" thread during this virus crap.

What's good in your life right now ? =)

For me: I'm enjoying our new life in AZ. right off the bat I notice the difference with people and friendliness. The clean factor is insane. I sold my house in CA for a great profit. I am starting a new car detailing business. Our new (used) house is coming along with projects. Now I'm not "as busy" so I get quality time with my baby daughters. You just have to remember: even when shit is hitting the fan and life is crazy, there is ALWAYS a positive side to life. Hang in there gents, eventually things will be back to normal. Stay healthy and stay positive =)

I put off buying a house because I was lazy and also too lazy to put my money into stocks. Now the stock market has crashed and maybe the housing market will dip a bit. Perfect time for me to grab that 3 car garage and then ride the market back up.

I am with my family during this pandemic. I just hope that my brother will be safe as he choose to stay to care for his patient with covid-19.

I live in Arizona, where it’s beautiful, we can get outdoors, we can practically keep firearms as pets, and good friends can bring #ProperAttire to unexpected settings.

Got a raise, along with some benefits, and planning on buying another Mustang soon. Mostly depends on how long the virus stuff endures; we’re an essential business and still have more than we can possibly get done. Then after things settle after the purchase I’ll be returning to getting my Mach 1 done.

The land of commies and socialists!
Both my wife and I are essential personnel and have solid well paying government jobs. So far none of my family or anyone we know has contacted the virus.

If I could find a similar retirement in another state I'd be the hell out of the communist ********** state as well! I want out so damn bad.

Thank you. To be completely honest it happened less than 2 months ago, but I was assured it will not lessen during this pandemic. I would be the second last person to leave if it comes to it, but I doubt it’ll be a problem.

My job.
I had a good salary. Due to various reasons I complained to my boss that my salary was almost equal to what a newly examinated guy at our work had, and that all of my efforts was only valued at a novice level.
So I got a 12% raise, from a really good salary to being well over paid.

I can't put it in money because my salary would look weak due to socialist Sweden can't be compared to capitalist US so I'll give you an example.
Me and my father is in the same field, we basically do the same stuff (engineers). He's 60, has been doing this his whole life and has a specialist position.
I'm 27 for another 2 weeks, without any relevant education at all, and my base salary is higher than his.

Needless to say, my boss has rendered me completely useless on the job market because I highly doubt anybody will ever pay even close to this for a kid who isn't even 30 yet and lacks education.
