Wow, never knew there were two 10Rs.
Would be awesome to have a Whippled 7.3 aluminum F150 in the future. Or in a Ranger Raptor:)

F150 would be nice. Ranger I’d say keep on dreaming. If they ever bring the Ranger Raptor stateside I’m guessing 2.7 EB.

I'm telling y'all...this 7.3l with 4.30s is a beast. They should offer this in the Raptor and would make a killing!!!

TFL did a test with the 7.3/4.30 combo up the mountain in CO....it maintained 60mph for most of the climb and almost 50mph at the peak of the climb pulling 16,000 lbs!! Absolutely amazing for a gas powered truck. Keep in mind there is no forced induction on this motor to help offset the 10,000+ ft in altitude.

Although trans temps were in the 230's which i thought was WAY too high.

I saw that thread. I do like the new wheels. They look great on your Tremor.

Word is there may be some aluminum 7.3L engines running around.

The 10R140 in the newer trucks seem to run much hotter than the older transmissions. The trick is that the temps drop quickly when you let up on them. It doesn't seem to be a cooling issue. It appears Ford tuned them to be that way.

Ranger raptor would having me looking real hard with a 2.7 or 3.0 TT.

The 3.0EB would make for one nasty little truck.

Honestly i would hope for the 3.0 over the 2.7. Just the power difference it makes.
