I can already feel the hate radiating lol, but guys I love the idea of wiring a tiny red LED as the snake eye. I just want to run it for a while for kicks. See link to an old thread I found,

https://www.svtperformance.com/threads/l-e-d-cobra-grill-emplem.239659/

My question is, even though some will question my taste. Can anyone dig up a current part number for something for this that may work? Just trying to have some fun guys so be easy here. Thanks

A small 3mm 12v LED should do it. Amazon.com : 12v 3mm led Drill a hole in the emblem, epoxy the LED in place and wire it up. Colored lights are illegal on the front a car so I would advise against connecting it to your marker lights, use a seperate switch.

I remember that thread. A neat novelty that will probably get old very quick. I wouldn't put it on the front grill snake for the reason stated. Sides, no problem. But do you have to drill a hole for the wire to pass through?

For some reason I find the idea of side less tacky..I may consider this but don't like the idea of drilling a hole.

My point was more that this mod is so unique and "cool" that if you did it you would initially like the new look. Kind of like buying a new pair of shoes that are cool but a bit different to where you'd get both positive and negative attention and comments. And then after, say, a month, you tire of the new and very different look and want to go back to something more conventional. In the end though, do what you like and like what you do.

Responses did not disappoint. This is just to have a little fun and then remove. I'm bored.

Go for it man, just for shits and giggles. A friend always kept trying to get me to do the same thing to my 03, didn't cave to the peer pressure.
