Working from home is great! Got my laptop right in the living room and binge watching movies while I am at it.

I saw the 1st Alien movie when I was 9. I was an instant fan! When Aliens came out in 86, man I loved that one too. I like the mystery of un answered questions. Like LV-426 and the space jockey. How'd the eggs get into the derelict space craft? If the space jockey had an alien burst out of his chest? Where is it? Wheres the queen that laid those eggs. Why were the other people not attacked by face huggers when they went to rescue Kane? Enough of that.

Alien 1 & 2 were amazing to me. The thought process that went into how the alien life cycle works is just terrorizing and genius. Ridley Scott started to lose me with Alien 3 and Alien 4. The story line was going way left of center. Enough with Ripley. She died fighting the good fight.

Ridley Scott really lost me with Prometheus and Covenant. WTF was he thinking? This isnt what we want to see. I want Aliens. Xenomorphs. The story line is way out in left field now. An android hell bent on creating the perfect life form. I dont like the story direction at all. Im not a fan, and its very disappointing to me. I cannot connect the line from Alien 1 to Covenant.

I would love to see the story line get back to its original roots. I want to see a movie, based on the colonist on LV-426. We know what happened and the outcome, and I want to watch it happen. If you have seen Aliens uncut, you get about 30 extra minutes of deleted scenes, mostly about the colonists and what initially happened. It looked like one hell of a battle took place with the colonist and the xenomorphs. Quite a long battle because some of the colonists were still alive when the marines arrived and that was a 3 month journey i believe.

Dear Ridley Scott. Please make Alien: LV-426

Prometheus was such a disappointment. Totally agree. Bring the story back to the original and go from there. I will check out them deleted scenes tho from the uncut version.

I liked the theory of Prometheus, just that it got rewritten a few times and the actions of the crew were borderline retarded.
Wish Covenant was a better sequel into the Engineers and not what we got.

They can make a new Alien movie and another to expand on the universe.

I actually thought Prom and Cov were great lead ins to the main Alien storyline. if you notice, each generation of xenomorphs took on a trait of its host. And the method of gestation for the bioweapon eventually leads to Xenomorphs.

It's a rather remarkable weapon that the engineers cooked up.

Loved Alien and Aliens as well. I think the franchise went down hill from there and the subsequent movies/crossovers were made just to cash in.

Would like to see a movie based soley on Hadleys Hope, there's plenty of storyline and character development potential there to make a great flick.

Getting back to basics can sometimes really rejuvenate a franchise.

They should directly continued where Prometheus ended. It set up a great sequel. Covenant is trash.

Alien is a classic. Aliens is one of the absolute best movies to come out in the 1980's. Aliens is by far my favorite. So many great scenes. How about when he pulls out the old school shot gun and blows the aliens head off at point blank range?

That has always been one of my biggest questions about the first Alien movie is how did all the eggs get on the derelict ship and were did
the Alien that came out of the space jockey go? Was it a Queen? The original alien movie is still one of my all time favorite but I'm not against a remake. I also really hope they make Alien Awakening, that movie is supposed to lead right up to the original alien movie.

Awakening would be legit. David Fasbender playes a hell of a demented psychotic Android!

The new Alien direction doesnt even make sense when you consider the Alien vs Predator time line. If a future asshole android made the xenomorph, then how the hell did they exists in modern times...and 1000s of years ago for predators to hunt.

Makes no sense. Good job Ridley Scott.

One of the most interesting albeit disturbing scenes which was cut from the original Aliens film but appeared in the directors cut was the eggmorphing.

Ripley discovers Dallas and Brett in various stages of this suggesting that people in a cocoon state can be morphed into a facehugger.

Great topic! I’ve always really liked the Alien series. David was extremely interesting in Prometheus/Covenant, and I really enjoyed seeing the history leading up to the xenomorphs.

Don’t forget about Alien vs Predator. I’d like to see predator make another appearance!

Watching directors cut of Alien 3. In this version, the Alien pops out of a bison, or cow. Not a dog. And it shows the alien as a baby for a brief bit.

Alien 3 director cut is so much better. Gives better depth to the characters. I was ok with Prometheus until Covenant. These prequels have effectively screwed everything up. The scene where David drops the weapon on the engineers...WTF?! And then the xenomorph comes out not as the slithery thing but a mini full grown version?! Yeah Ridley Scott can suck a dick with the prequels.
